I used Three Tomatoes for my wedding two weeks ago, and they were absolutely outstanding throughout the process. First and foremost, their pricing is fair, reasonable and a true value for the product and service. The food was absolutely delicious! All of our guests raved about it. I was a little worried about serving several entrees to 100 people. Would the steak be cooked properly? Could they maintain the quality of the food that we had at the tasting for that many people? The answer is yes. Everything was delicious. They were even able to do the cake. I was delighted as it meant I didnt have to find another vendor. Their baker made a delicious cake and was able to decorate it exactly as I wanted it. It made everything so easy. Their staff was kind, courteous and professional, and were eager to be helpful in anyway they could. I was very lucky to be able to work with Abby Schissler as my event coordinator. She went above and beyond anything I would have ever thought to ask for or about. She even went so far as to handle all the details with the event rentals for the evening (linens, etc), so there was less work for me! She was kind enough to assist with room layout, decorating ideas - everything I needed. It was far beyond the service I would have expected from someone in her position. If you do choose Three Tomatoes, ask for her - you will not regret it! I would recommend them without hesitation for any type of event that you are thinking of having. If I am lucky enough to be able to host another even that needs professional catering services, I will use Abby and Three Tomatoes without reservation!!!

Profile Picture Private User 1 Review Recently Married 4.9 My husband I chose 3 Tomatoes Catering for our large wedding (250 people) after working w/ Abby whose attention to detail and responsiveness was unmatched. The night of our event - every detail was perfect. EVERY single guest raved to us about the food – folks were amazed at how moist the pork and salmon were – how perfectly cooked the vegetables were - w/ just the right amount of crunch. I must admit – we knew the food was amazing at our tasting but tried not to hold high standards for the wedding as we could only imagine how hard it is to cook for 250 people in a makeshift kitchen. Three Tomatoes blew our expectations out of the water – complete pros (and I was a chef for 8 years!). The desserts were impeccable – hors’ complex yet simple - and everything in between just tasted damn good! Our photographer commented on how attentive Abby was throughout the reception – which didn’t surprise us (as she was the reason we chose to go w/ 3 Tomatoes!!!) – however, from a photographer who does countless amount of weddings - we knew our raving opinion was validated. The staff was fabulous and friendly and all of our friends think it was the event of the decade! Of course we would have to agree. We could never thank Three Tomatoes enough. We would recommend them a thousand times over - and will always call them for any event from here until death-do-us-part!

Had Three Tomatoes cater a reunion event over the weekend and it was a disaster! Suppose to show up not later than 1 hr and 15 min before the event - showed up 1/2 hour before serving was to begin. Ran out of beverages with only 1/4 of the people through the buffet line. The explanation 4 days AFTER the event: using a new system and miscalculated so you only got half the beverages you were suppose to get so well be sure and refund half the cost. Ran out of cheese for the fajitas 2/3 way through the guests; ran out of other condiments shortly thereafter. Ran out of desserts with only half the guests through the line -- they calculate 1.5 cookies per attendee. Put out CHEAP packaged cookies from Walmart as their backup; then when I complained they came up with one more tray of desserts. The explanation I am being given is that I must have had a LOT of big eaters at the event. NO, at least half of the attendees were elderly people that didnt eat that much at the event. The food that was there was good but it was not the fajita meat that I was given at a tasting. STEER CLEAR to avoid embarrassment and disappointment!!

We have been using Three Tomatoes as our primary caterer for corporate events in Denver for almost 3 years now. As a regular (we host events almost every week at our office), they continue to meet and exceed our expectations. The food is always wonderful, presentation is phenomenal, and the staff are more than willing to accommodate our varied requests. I would recommend Three Tomatoes to anyone in the Denver area. From smaller events to larger corporate gatherings, Three Tomatoes meets the bill every time. This is very important to me as I coordinate the majority of our events from our corporate office (hours away from Denver), so I need to rely on the expertise of the staff to guide me in the menu choice, etc to ensure that no detail is missed. I can confidently say that I can call the event team at Three Tomatoes, give them the dates and walk away knowing that EVERYTHING else will be taken care of. They are very good at what they do. THANK YOU ALL I would recommend Three Tomatoes to anyone in the Denver area.

I have worked with Three Tomatoes for almost four years now. I am executive assistant for a somewhat small company so we dont order huge amounts of food but we have several events catered through out the year. My event coordinator is wonderful!! Whether I contact her six months in advance, or three days before, she is always accomodating, friendly and quick! She keeps our menu on file so all I have to do is send her a quick email with a head count, delivery date and time. The reason our menu choice never changes is b/c we drool over the beef tenderloin, chicken tarragon, cobb salad, and grilled veggies!! It is AMAZING so we cant seem to steer away from those choices. The flavor is wonderful and its all brilliantly cooked. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the staff, drivers and food. Rock on Three Tomatoes. Cant wait for our next event!!

It was a great pleasure working with this company through the entire process of planning a wedding, however, the management team here does not know how to take negative feedback or how to compensate for it. We had a dish served at our wedding that simply was not executed in the way it was presented to us at tasting. We realize this dish was made en mass, however, it was completely different than what we agreed to. The version we got was boring, bland, and hardly anyone ate it. When we brought this to the attention of management, we were told "the chef says there was not a problem with the dish" and offered us 10% off the dish (roughly $16). Purely an insult rather than a remedy. It was such a pleasure to work with them throughout the process that it was surprising the response to feedback was defensive and in the form of 16 bucks.

My organization has been using Three Tomatoes consistently since January. We couldnt ask for a better caterer. We have used many caterers in the past and none compares to Three Tomatoes. They provide the full package -- fabulous food, beautiful and creative presentations and wonderful service. We have varied food requests (e.g., all gluten-free items and kosher main dishes), and they are never a hindrance to providing a wonderful dinner. Our meeting attendees always enjoy the dinner meetings we hold and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the food and its presentation. As a meeting coordinator, I am put at ease because I know that Three Tomatoes pays attention to every detail and nothing falls through the cracks. I have the utmost confidence in them. I would recommend Three Tomatoes to anyone. Thanks Three Tomatoes!
