My first time in the store I was impressed as I have never been in one. I purchased a few things and then decided I would be setting up an appointment for hair color and a cut. I scheduled for a sunday and went in at 3 and was there till 830 at night. The designer put 3 colors in and after the wash out of the dye there was pink in my ends instead of red. She encouraged me to come back the next night and would put more red in it. After the red was redone the washing out of the color had turned my blond that was bleached the night before HOT PINK. she decided to bleach the blonde over again (stronger bleach) at 8;00 at night. blonde still was hot pink tint and so she decided to turn it all brown with red. being about 930 at night she said to come in on my next day off. I went in on thursday and she attempted to fix all the red because it was still nearly pink from Monday night still. after adding red in it, it turned out to a completely fire engine red and my bangs were destroyed from being bleached 2 times and then colored red 2 times. I now have to pin my bangs back entirely and hair spray otherwise they are about an inch long!!! Never again will i return to get my hair done there. I ended up getting most of my money back. I paid 143 for my color and trim and added 20 for her tip so it was about 163 afterwards. i only got 116 back since i didnt get my tip back and my trim amount back even though after the coloring my ends were fried.

Worst Ulta location in the state! Understaffed by rude employees who could care less about their customers. Gave one star as it is the only way to leave a review. Went to the Greeley location to refill my perfume bottle - was "greeted" with a confused look and a "we dont do that here" (they do, have had this done many times before). Found another employee who seemed to be a bit more knowledgeable and was told I would need to come back in 40 mins because only 1 manager knew how to do this and they were at lunch...the other staff was not allowed to or know how to help a customer. RIDICULOUS! I feel you shouldnt offer a service if you can uphold your end due to lack of staff or knowledge. This was an extremely inconvenient experience for me and was further not handled correctly by the extremely rude staff who smirked and simply shrugged when I mentioned the situation was unacceptable. I will most definitely only use the Fort Collins location from this point forward, where the employees are not only interested in helping their customers and are also much more knowledgeable about their products and services. Greeley location = WORST!

Came to purchase a few items with my mother. Tell me why, while were waiting to be helped, an employee begins walking in our direction, notices that we are there and diverts into an aisle, bringing her to a couple of white women and asks them if they need help. I saw other employees notice this and do nothing. I saw other employees look the other way start conversations with each other while my mother and I just had some questions. I can tell you almost every person of color has had an experience like this so Ive begun to make people accountable for this and not just a story. I wish I could explain how it feels to believe that someone refuses to help because they consider the color of your skin to be something that they do not want to help. If you want to be treated as a person just trying to purchase make up as a person of color, do not visit this location.

Customer service is poor at this location tonight. I stood at the register waiting for service while two employees were behind the counter having a conversation. When MacKenzie turned around and saw us, she said, "were you all set?" And then the male employee continued his conversation with Makenzie. She immediately turned back around and continued to listen, ignoring us. Honestly, I blame the male employee for the entire interaction. He had been facing us the entire time and refused to acknowledge us. And even after MacKenzie saw us, he chose to ignore us. Yes, MacKenzie ignored us too, but given the conversation they were having, it seemed the male employee was training her and she had no other choice then to listen. I hope this is the case. I will re-review next time I come in, as I have never received this poor of service in past visits.

I have come into Ulta a few times to buy makeup and hair products. The first few times I wasnt particularly pleased with my experiences due to the lack of help and the long check out lines but after today I wont be returning. The customer service in here is disgusting! I have walking around the makeup area for the past 20 minutes and I have yet to be asked if I need any assistance. Currently there are four employees gossiping in the aisle next to me. I find it infuriating when I need help and the people working at the establishment dont feel the need to do their jobs. Im not sure how much eye contact I can make with one person to say "hey I need your assistance" before they get the idea that I need their help. Save your money and go down to Sephora ladies!

I appreciate getting helped out, but Id like to shop without getting checked on ever 2 seconds. Also today it really PEEVED me when I had to answer an important phone call from a car dealer. I asked if the lady trying work with me could leave me alone for a minute. but she only listend for a minute and then STILL RESUME TO TALK TO ME AN TOUCH MY FACE WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I have a problem and its rude. Also wanting to buy a certain product and you tell me I shouldnt and shove three other products in my face... Excuse me this is my money, my choice, if I like a product that works for me stop trying to make me spend more money on something that dose the same. I WONT be shopping at this location again. Id rather shop online.

I like the store itself, but the salon not so much. I went in for a color that cost me about 200 dollars, and while the stylist did well, it wasnt exactly what I wanted. I called to get in the next day to have it fixed and the salon manager said she needed to talk to the stylist to see what they could do for me. She claimed she would call me later in the day or the following day. I never got a call back, so I ended up going to a different salon and got exactly what I wanted for half the price. I wish I wouldve gone with the second salon I chose in the first place to avoid spending as much. She couldve at least had the decency to give me a call back and explain the policy when she said she would..

Amazing experience with the salon staff! I went from a black to a beautiful black to blonde ombré. Dustin began the lightening process leaving me with the exact color I wanted with no Orange undertone that you get from going black to blonde. The salon manager Danielle finished off my ombré a couple days later and I am in LOVE. It is exactly like the picture I presented. In addition to that I did the deep condition which left my hair looking and feeling amazing even after bleaching. The ulta manager Brittany did everything to insure I was happy with my hair and went above and beyond to accommodate me. Out of all of the salons in Greeley I would highly recommend this location!!
