Ive been coming here for a few years now and I really enjoy it. In terms of pampering, I have been to "high end" spas and I really feel like I get better pampering here. The robes are softer and more plushy. Someone always walks me to the dressing room and then takes me to the relaxation area, then they bring my tea or fruit infused water, a hot towel for my neck, and a quick exfoliation treatment for my hands. Every time I am remembered by name and greeted immediately on walking in. In terms of services: Massage therapists are all good and it is worth asking about the individual techniques they each employ. I tend to see Lauren most often who has her own special ritual for getting you into relaxation mode through some sound therapy. Joey uses more slow, long, isolation movements and gives you a very relaxing massage. Tamera is more fast, strong motions that really warm up the muscles and great for getting some deep tissue work. Aestheticians for facials and skin have good attention to detail and are always focused on the experience rather than just slapping some goo on your face. Sarah does exactly what I want for my brow waxing and remembers that I tend to come straight from the gym so she adds some acne spot treatment to help avoid breakouts. She also is so methodic with her facials and her massage during facials --you can tell she enjoys it and takes a lot of pride in doing it well. She really does make it more than just a basic skin treatment. Same for Crystal, she listens to what you are looking for and helps you achieve greatness. Obviously, I love coming here and my R club membership is one of the highlights of my month. Hopefully for anyone trying to find some guidance on who to choose this can give some guidance. On a last note...Copperfalls Signature 90 min Facial --best ever! Never felt so cuddly or pampered before.

Its hair roulette. Sometimes you get what you ask for, sometimes you dont. After working with the same colorist for six months, and getting very inconsistent results the past three visits, Im done. At the beginning the stylist listened well and did a good job. Relieved, I was hopeful that I found a professional who would consistently retouch my roots and add new highlights. That only happened once. Then things went downhill. First she colored my hair about three shades darker than ever, for no apparent reason. I was honestly left in a chair for over an hour while she did other things, so I suspect that I was overly processed. I had to wait three weeks for a correction appointment at which time my highlights were fried to white. Considering the reputation of Aveda, I went in one more time hoping to get things back on track. On that last occasion, the color improved, but the stylist literally cut one whole side of my hair 3 inches shorter than the other, again, for no apparent reason. I noticed that she wears her hair extra long on one side, and I really began to wonder what was going on here. They charge way too much for such erratic, unprofessional service. So Im writing this review to warn others. When I moved to Castle Rock a friend with a good cut and color told me that if there was a good hair stylist in town, shed be going to her/him. But she was going up to Denver to have hers done. Now, a year into several expensive and bad cuts and colors that have gradually made a huge mess out of my long healthy hair, I believe that my friend was right in the first place. Im now researching salons and getting clear info on the training, skill level and consistency of work.

My wife had an inconceivably bad experience here. When she went for a hair treatment, manicure and pedicure, the woman doing the pedicure berated her loudly - causing other patrons to turn to watch - because she has a couple of toenails affected by the common toenail fungus. My wife was told that she could never come back for a pedicure because her feet are a violation of the health code. She managed to make my wife feel so embarrassed that she came home teary-eyed. Listen, I get that there may be health codes in play here, but such an issue can be dealt with tactfully and respectfully. My wife is a beautiful, popular and well-groomed woman, yet she was made to feel gross and disgusting. Moreover, as a pastors wife, shes used to a fair amount of harsh criticism and has learned to not be too affected by it. For her to be affected this deeply by the way she was treated says a great deal about how bad it actually was. The manager on duty did say that she was sorry for the way my wife was treated, but did nothing else beyond saying it was a "learning experience" for the employee. Not good enough. Since no other effort was made to make this right, I cannot urge anyone strongly enough to avoid this spa.

I agree with one other reviewer "hair roulette." I have tried 3 different hair stylists in this shop. Not one knew how to properly cut an A-line modern bob. I wanted my sides longer than the back. Didnt happen. I asked to please NOT cut the sides. They cut them. I had brought in photographs of the style, as well. I rarely got the chunky highlighting I asked for. The last time I went in I asked one more time for an a-line cut, brought in various photos, and asked for platinum blonde. I asked twice, "will what you are using make my hair platinum" and was told yes. I got a lousy cut and a lousy color - far from platinum! AND if I had wanted to have a Hillary hair cut I would have brought in a photo of her! I will not go back. They charge WAY too much money saying the stylists are at the top of their scale (or what ever they call it) and will be more expensive because they are that much better. I dont get it. I will never go back to Copperfalls. I gave them way too many chances to show me they could cut and color and they failed. I am on the look out for someone that can actually listen, cut, style and color.

Extremely disappointed today in CopperFalls!!! Made an appointment with a live person yesterday for today. Have a hurt back and in major need of a massage. She confirmed date and time multiple times on phone. Arrived today only to be told that my appointment was scheduled for tomorrow and not today and there was nothing that could be done to help me today. How difficult is it to manage your schedule and make sure customers are booked on the correct date/time? Left with a still hurting back... No massage and no answers from anyone at CopperFalls. They wanted to offer me 20% off a future service. Really??!! I think based on a mistake of that magnitude Im owed more than 20% off. Needless to say... I find them completely unreliable and this certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. I wont be recommending this spa to anyone in my circle.

I was given a gift certificate and, therefore, I did not have an option. I have never had such a horrible job on manicure, pedicure, and facial in the salon . It seems like the manager of Aveda in Castle Rock hires their staff from the street with minimum or zero experience. There is no training involved whatsoever and the manager doesnt really care on the quality of service they provide. When I tried to explain "the specialist" named Tony what are my expectancies on pedicure/manicure, she had no clue of any basics and refuse to follow up with my requests. The only service she could do was the foot massage. There is the same situation with facials. The esthetician spent more time massaging my feet then doing the facial. It seems like 3 months in a beauty school is a ticket to get hired in this salon. Do not waste your money.
