I have been a member of multiple gyms, and I knew when II joined True Fit this was not a LifeTime Fitness I was getting. Despite reading all the terrible online reviews regarding customer service, broken equipment, changing and canceling classes-(all of which align accurately with our experience)--The cost was just too hard to pass up. (About $25/month) This is BEFORE the hidden fees you discover are tacked on later. But as the months pass, even the low cost is not a worthy enough reason to stay. I want future members to know exactly what they are getting and what they might be compromising for that low monthly fee. Heres what you will NOT GET: Customer Service or Appreciation: I have never experiences such poor operations and service. Most staff members have no idea what is going on or where to take customer concerns or suggestions. (That is if you can find a staff member present and on the floor) The constant revolving managers are great at passing the buck; blaming all issues on the management prior. No one takes responsibility to what was described or promised when signing up, and as you can read in the multiple reviews below--will not stand by any of it. Honesty and Integrity: Probably the most frustrating and disgusting part of our experience. From day one, it has been a "bait and switch" with surprise charges, up selling and constant inconsistency in classes and service. The first example was the surprise and never disclosed "mandatory equipment fee" which doubles the monthly fee --NEVER mentioned when the year long contract was signed. Broken And Outdated Equipment: The money is collected from the mandatory free described above is supposed go toward equipment and site maintenance --this is a joke. 50 percent of the equipment is damaged, and the remaining equipment is old and outdated. I have asked repeatedly for at least there be signs posted on the broken machines so you dont have to jump from machine to machine to find out it is broken. But to date, I have not seen a single machine marked or fixed. MisRepresentation of Classes: The latest "bait and switch" came when I was encouraged to try out their new class: HITT Bootcamp (The instructors and class are great!) I was THRILLED as all the classes I was told about when signing up have been canceled or moved from the original time slot they were presented. Honestly the addition of BootCamp saved the membership--it made putting up with all the other things tolerable. About five classes in, after recruiting three friends to the program, I was told the gym would now be charging an additional $79/month ON TOP of the monthly fee for participation in boot camp. NO WHERE Is this posted!!! I was actively encouraged to come to the classes, actively encouraged to spread the word--which I did successfully and BOOM--out of the blue--they tack on this massive fee. And Boot Camp is not even offered every day or even at the same times. For this kind of money--I could get a membership at LifeTime Fitness with state of the art everything!!! Gyms that charge 100 or more a month offer 10 -15 top notch classes a day, have programs, state of the art facilities and equipment, a pool, the works..... The ONLY THING this gym has going for it is the low cost of membership and a few nice staff and trainers. At some point, even the low cost is not enough to put up with all that is wrong and missing from this gym. Weigh your options carefully and know fully what you are getting into before you compromise.

Worst Gym ever I have been a member since last year and its been a terrible experience ever!!! When I first entered the gym as a guest they did not even let me enjoy the gym without being pushy about getting a membership!!! Every time I go in the customer service and front desk staff are so rude. One day I brought my daughter as a guest who is 12 they demanded a $10 fee which I paid! This year my membership jumped from paying 19 a month to nearly $69.99 they claimed they made me aware of equipment cleaning maintenance cost I was outraged and they still billed me. I stopped going for about 4 months becuse Tha general manager was a complete waste of time and never resolved anything! Today I invited my husband to go for a steam and on arrival I was greeted with poor customer service for forgetting my scan card they said we can look you up but you need your ID!!! Even though they have a picture of me in their software for that reasons I then tried to speak to the new GM Caleb who was so unprofessional and said your not allowed in the gym without ID when I am in their system! My husband was completely disgusted as a guest and said lets go home and not even use the gym I then spoke with a nice trainer who apologized for Caleb GM managers behaviour and said go and enjoy your steam and dont worry. I walked back out to get some towels and the same new manager Caleb came up and said that trainer works for me and he cant give you authority to use the GYM I told him I cannot believe he continued to Harease me I told him I was absoulutely disgusted with his customer service my husband went in and used the steam room only and I sat and wrote this review!!!!!! I am cancelling my membership Am and will be talking to Gregory Osbourne about how he can keep loyal customers and teach them about customer service! I would rather take my money to LIFETIME FITNESS I hear their gym and customer service is amazing!!! STay away from this awful GYM!!!!!

First of all, I DID READ THE CONTRACT, so all those (Penelope) who want to mock those with issues can SUCK it. I broke my foot and ankle one month after starting with this place last May of 2015. I went in, in a walking boot, and let them know that I would need to cancel or have a hold put on the membership for at least six months (3 months healing time, 3 months rehab). I was told to come back with a note from you doc. I rolled my eyes and thought, seriously?! Went and got a doc note, tried to fax or email in, and they said "No", that they need the original. Wth?! Oh well, I truck in there broken, on pain meds, and all to give it to them. The girl says the manager is not available and to come back. I ask to leave the note with her and pass it on. She says no, that it would be best if I come back. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! So, I call and come back and do all that, still with no resolution. I am now pissed. Another month has passed, another payment for a gym I dont use. I call, speak to a manager who basically tells me if I dispute it with my bank or cancel the card they will send me to collections. REALLY?!?!? FINE. So I let them charge me for the full contract. One. Year. Later. They auto renew it in June! NOW I AM WICKED PISSED. I call, I go in, I do everything for about six weeks. Yet everytime I get the same response, "You have to talk to a manager and they are not in". Ok. You want to play that game? Wrong bear to poke! I made a final phone call today. Then called my bank to dispute. This is insane. Do they want my first born as well??? Today I am filing a complaint with the BBB and the Lone Tree commerce department. I work for a nationally recognized large bank in compliance. I know who to complain to. They messed with the wrong girl this time. I am not going to let this type of aggressive mishandling of a customer fly. Avoid this place if you are smart.
