I could not be more pleased with the service I received! We had another "discount" company come out on 2 occasions to clear our line after our floor drain backed up all over our basement floor. This other company told us on both occasions that nothing was blocking our drain, no roots, nothing. We were told that there was "possibly some dirt so we might have a cracked pipe under our basement that needs to be replaced". Only 6 days after this other company come out, our drain backed up again and I decided to call Roto-Rooter this time. I am so glad I did! This job required two people, as my clean-out access is located in my basement in a fairly inconvenient location. Both Josh and Robert were friendly and professional. They cleaned out the line first and pulled out a wad of... Roots! Yup, the main culprit of these types of back ups in my area of town that the other company somehow missed. Because of the report of possible dirt in the line from before, they went ahead, at my request, and took video of the line. They walked me through the video showing me in detail the one section of concern where the roots were growing in. They offered to provide a treatment to kill off the roots and prevent them from growing back for a year, which I agreed with. This treatment and their service is warrantied for 1 year, and their price was very fair. I now have a go-to company in the future!

I would rate this review a 10, if it allowed me to. We had a clogged main line on Friday night after 4:00 pm, in Pueblo West. No other company would even consider coming out. When I called the office, the lady answering the phone told me that she would contact her guys and they would come out between 5-7 that night. At 5:00, Ron and another young man came to the house, and they immediately started to figure out the problem. The problem was worse than we expected, because our tree roots had grown into the pipe. Ron came back first thing on Saturday morning, and he determined the pipe needed to be replaced. The owner, Preston, came out to help Ron, and they were so helpful and kind to my husband and I. They offered their equipment to us( so we didnt have to spend extra money on rental equipment). Preston went and bought us parts and Ron worked for hours fixing the problem. He did not have to help us as much as he did, he completely went above and beyond the call of duty. I truly cant thank them enough for all they did. They were kind, considerate, and completely professional. In my opinion, they are the only plumbers you should consider for your repairs!

DO NOT USE ROTO-ROOTER!!!! Called Roto-Rooter to unplug my sewer line, the technician they sent out had no clue what he was doing and couldnt get the line unclogged. On top of that he chipped every tile when he drug his machine up the stairs into my kitchen, the sewer line was in my basement so why he was in my kitchen who knows. So I call Roto-Rooter about the damage to my tile and the manager tells me to get an estimate, after I get an estimate I call back and tell them the price to fix the tile and the manager tells me Im hanging him out to dry for $150 and that the tile is no longer available so it would be $400 to retile the whole area. Hanging him out to dry when he is the one sending inexperienced technicians into peoples homes to damage their property. So I call Devil Dog or something like that two old school guys come out and spend a good 20 minutes to cut a handful of roots out cost $100 and they didnt break anything, better than $300 charged by Roto-Rooter not getting anything fixed and it costing me money to retile my floor.

Not happy with hidden charges. I have a rental property in Pueblo West, and I needed to call for some plumbing problems. They came out to look at and gave me an estimate. I told them to go ahead and do the work. After the fact, I got the bill, and it included a substantially higher price than the estimate. When I inquired about it, they said it was the initial service charge and it was $353. I told them, it would have been nice to know this extra charge when I got the estimate. I sent an e-mail asking about the extra charge and if nothing else, get a receipt for the work done. The manager told me he would get back to me I never heard back from him. After a month I sent another e-mail. Again no response. They have their money, and they have no desire to talk to me again. I would be very careful with hidden fees when you deal with them and the amount the service call may be.

This is the second time Ive had to call them for a clogged main line at my house in Canon City, CO. Both times, theyve gotten to me within an hour, and as expensive as plumbing services can be, the really cool, down to earth, friendly techs have bent over back wards to give me every consideration on the charges. In other words, they couldve easily charged me a lot more just for showing up like some other service probably would have. And both times, the techs took longer to set up and clean up than they spent fixing the problem. Thats not a bad thing, I mean to say these guys know what theyre doing!! And then to ice the cake, they gave me a warranty on their work. Ive gotem on speed dial now! Something to be said for sticking with the company you know. They have a reputation to live up to.

Either roto rooter is totally inept or they are totally dishonest. I believe its the latter. They came to my house and said they might could fix my problem for $189 but they really cant see it working and they will have to remove my faucet and it would probably cost a minimum of $292 plus any parts or unforeseen issues. I told them no thank you. Another company came out and immediately within 60 seconds diagnosed the minor problem and fixed my problem in less than10 minutes. It didnt cost anywhere near what roto rooter quoted and was so simply fixed I was shocked. Roto rooter does business exactly as their name implies. Im obviously not a plumber and and Im not a fool either. Bad experience for me.

Roto-Rooter certainly isnt kidding when they say that no service is too small. The company sent its best and most skilled plumbing expert, Robert, to assist me with removing old shower heads and replacing them with new ones. This no doubt is a fairly small job, but Robert performed it with efficiency, professionalism, and graciousness. Im quite thankful--we now have handheld shower heads that work much better than those pieces of junk that used to be there, which for the life of me I could not remove on my own. I highly recommend Robert because of the high quality of his work and his sheer willingness to aid the people he serves.

Terrible "plumbers" and ridiculously expensive. They have a set rate of $175 no matter what the issue is, which is complete bullshit. My dish disposal was broken and backing up and the plumber "didnt have the correct tools to fix the disposal because it was so old" and then charged me 175 after being there for 20 minutes. I have never once went out of my way to write a bad review but I am seriously questioning if these guys are even plumbers. If you arent able to repair what my issue is, then dont charge me a flat bullshit rate. I shouldnt have to pay 175 for a consultation... absolutely crazy.
