Let me start by saying, this place deserves 6 out of 5 stars. Ive only been there once for them to work on my tranny, but Ill tell you right now that I will be a returning customer. Stop&Go is a place for all ages, they have news papers and magazines of all kinds for adults and a nice flat screen tv for the kids to watch cartoons, along with many options of snacks and drinks. Theyre extremely knowledgable with what they do. The word "transmissions" is in theyre name and it belongs there because they know what to do when it comes to transmissions. I STRONGLY recommend this fine establishment to anyone who has any trouble with their vehicle. I love Stop&Go.

My experience at Stop & Go was nothing short of great. The staff and employees treated me with respect from the moment I walked in, and the service was great. I took my 1998 Jeep Wrangler in for a price comparison of 3 shops, expecting a price about $3,500 to $4,000 to fix a transmission. As it turns out, they used their scanner and they determined they could fix my problem for $2,500 and within two days of dropping it off. Thank you very much Stop & Go!!!!!! 100 thumbs up.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE. I BROUGTH A SPORT UTILITY CAR TO THIS SHOP A YEAR AGO BECAUSE IT HAD A LEAKEAGE UNDER THE CAR. WELL ...AFTER THEY "CHEKED" IT. THE GREAT (OWNER/OERATOR), TOLD ME THAT THE CAR NEEDED AN OVERHAUL WHICH WAS GOING TO COST ME AN ARM AND A LEG. I JUST TURNED AROUND AND WENT TO A STREET MECHANIC WICH JUST CHANGED A TORQUE CONVERTOR HOUSING OIL SEAL ., AND "VOILA" (COST OF THE SEAL 15 BUCKS, COST OF THE LABOR 275 BUCKS). DONT TRUST THE (OWNER/OPERATOR) BIG SMILE.

Great service the day I took my car in. Afterwards was a different story. They took off my hub cap and either forgot to put it back on or didnt feel like it so days later when I fall to ask about it they swear someone in Bridgeport stole it off my car which isnt possible because I dont live in Bridgeport. Condescending and rude, I dont care how low the prices are this place will never get my business again

I went to Stop & Go thinking I needed a new transmission because my car was slipping and the friendly owner/operator, Ed, tested my transmission and repaired an electronic problem and it worked great! I was so happy it was only a minor problem, I will happily return.

They did great work fair price no problems I have a 1962 Ford and he was willing to work on it. Most shops refuse to work on this kind of car.
