I just signed up a month ago and encouraged my elderly mother in law who is 75 to do the same. Unfortunately the date after she signed up, she fell and broke her foot and ankle. she is out of commission more a minimum of 12 weeks if not longer. She contacted Planet Fitness and they told her she needed to send a certified letter through the mail explaining the situation. She told them it was easier for either myself or husband to drop it off (and cheaper might I add), but they said NO of course. Things arent black and white - exceptions can be made and I dont get the attitude of NO especially in a situation like this. She is signing off the letter with HER signature and all her information. I called the gym to make sure I was clear and their manager said its a corporate rule and there is no way around it. Also, no way to talk or be in contact with the owner or let him know of my dissatisfaction so he could let corporate know. Just awesome!

After 12 years of having access to gyms on military bases, this is the first time Ive had to buy a gym membership. Im very pleased with my choice in Planet Fitness! Ive been going there for over a year now and havent had any bad experiences. The weight selections is good, theres a huge amount of cardio equipment, and there are a variety of weight machines available. Most machines have a second setup nearby so I rarely have to wait to do an exercise. I wish they had some heavier weights, I wish they had a few choice machines that Ive used in the past, but Ive been spoiled with military gyms so I wont hold that against them. They make good use of available space. Oh, and for night owls, theyre open 24 hours a day from Monday morning through Friday afternoon!

Everything is very clean and organized. Very little dust on machines or anything else, equipment up to date and very well kept. At first glance it appears as if the equipment is too squished together but it is not a terribly big place and there is BY FAR enough room to exercise comfortably. If youre looking to work out or get in shape at ANY physical level this gym is right for you. The price is low, the gym is nice, and the people who go there are quite friendly. Despite what others say it is truly a judgement free zone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The staff there rude and arrogant. It is supposed to be judgement free Zone, but they even tell what towels you can use. I am also in military and leaving country soon, but I cant cancel my membership without paying $58.00 buyout fee. Which is rediculous and I cant show my deployment orders because destination is on orders. And of course staff does not care and wont even try to help or make exception. They would rather sit on counter behind desk texting on cell phones. If I have to I will get state involved.

Come here often (4-6 times weekly), staff is helpful, trainers are very helpful. Environment is normal for a gym, with people moving about, from machine to machine with friendly smiles and head nods. I am semi-self concious and feel very comfortable here. It is always busy but I never have to wait for a machine. Everything moves along at a good pace. Definitely no intimidation here. I am 2 months into my membership and it is well worth it.

Place is clean and it is kept spotless. Machines are replaced regularly and are in good condition. Staff is attentive, and they are constantly cleaning. It is a good beginners gym--though more experienced gym rats may prefer a place that caters more to the open weight body builder clientele. Members are a mix of all ages. Best ten bucks a month I have ever spent.

Economical fitness center. Good for those who care about going to gym and doing their own stuff. Dont expect a lot of help from the trainer. You have to schedule a time to get you started or if you need something specific. Dont expect too much of "Hey, how are you, see you, have a good day, good night" kind of greetings.

Very unique Planet Fitness Location that still has free weights . Facility is kept very clean as well as the machine maintenance kept up excellent too ! Only downside is some of the kids that are employed here do not belong in charge of a gym.

Worst gym I have been to. Zero space to stretch and machines are too close together. Judgement FULL zone, employees are awful. Vacuuming in the middle of the day? Thats healthy and makes me feel good. Machines are falling apart. No benches.

Most of the equipment works alright but sometimes the treadmills can be difficult to operate. I also think the gym could be a lot cleaner.

Its dark and lonely back here but great and new machines bathrooms are clean and two massage beds and two massage chairs!!

Its alright... Has the basic equipment and everything you need. I wish it were bigger and they had more free weights.

They charge 20 DOLLARS for a day pass. I travel a lot and this is the highest I have ever heard of. Rediculous!!!
