I have been going to Towne Cleaners for a few months now. I always thought they were overpriced but I put up with it, until today, when an experience so bizarre occurred that I most definitely will not be returning! I brought in one dress to be dry cleaned, two dresses that the seam fell out for that just needed to be resewn (a very simple thing to do) and a pair of pants that needed a closure reinforced. I asked the owner what it would cost and he refused to answer and instead started writing up the ticket. He then took my clothes behind the counter and handed me the ticket. The total was $48.50 for the dress and $7.50 for "pants." So clearly I was a bit confused by this cost. I asked him to explain it to me and he started screaming "FOR SEWING. YOU DONT UNDERSTAND DRY CLEANING!" I then asked him to please calm down, that I just wanted to understand what the costs were per item, and he threw my pair of pants at me and told me to take them back and get out! I said, "Sir, youre being extremely rude!" He responded, "No Im not. You dont understand dry cleaning. Get out!" I asked for all my clothes back and told him I clearly would not return. Oddly he had no response for that. The owner of this cleaners has clearly lost his mind, and I would highly recommend that you take your dry cleaning elsewhere, unless you want this type of treatment from him!

I have been going to Towne Cleaners since they opened, and I have never had a problem nor have I ever been disappointed in the work done. The owners are terrific people who are always friendly and willing to answer questions and do whatever is necessary to make sure I get my clothes the way I want them to be. I have also had numerous clothes altered and repaired, and I have never had any reason to complain. They are the best!

I have been going to this dry cleaner for well over a decade. They are polite, kind, and honest people whose prices are in line with the multiple dry cleaners in town. There are cleaners closer to my home, but I prefer to go Towne Cleaners because of how kind they are to their customers.
