Do not go to this place! I am a long-time Guilford resident and could not believe the service I got here. I had bought 6-8 pairs of work pants post pregnancy before I went back to work. I always need pants hemmed because I am on the short side. I came here because it was convienent to where I live. He hemmed the pants ($14/pant by the way!) and over the course of the next 2 weeks, I wore them to work. Well to my surprise- all of them were too short and I looked like I was wearing high waters. So I collected them all and brought them back to explain there were too short. He said ok and to come back in a few days. So when I get there, he first tells me that I made a mistake, and he has never seen these pants and did not do the original hem. Then he tells me I shouldve tried them all on when I get home and immediately brought them back. At this point, I didnt want to argue because its clear that hes just being defensive for some reason. I really couldnt believe that he was telling me he has never seen the pants before! Then he charge me $80 dollars to fix them AGAIN! Needless to say- the "Tailoring" ended up costing me more than the pants themselves. Beware of this place! There are many other cleaners/alterations in there area.

Horrible. They destroyed buttons on my husbands shirts because apparently their equipment cant handle "non standard thickness buttons"(the buttons werenthe that thick at all). After he complained, they were not apologetic, but eventually agreed to replace the damaged buttons. When he went to pick his shirts up, none of the buttons was replaced, and he got some more of their horrible customer service (they were very rude). Ive used them few times over the years, and the business seams to have gone downhill. To damage somebodys clothes during cleaning is one thing, to refuse to take responsibility for it is another, and to be outright rude to a customer who is dissatisfied is quite outrages. Avoid them!!!

I too am a long-time Guilford resident and have come to the conclusion that this is the BEST cleaners in town! If you want quick, quality cleaning done this is the place to go to, not to mention the wonderful service. The owner clearly shows interest in helping the customer out as much as possible. Not only did he get the coffee stain out of my new coat, but he also helped me decide where to go out to dinner that night!...and it was delicious. I highly recommend Crystal Hanger Cleaners as the place to bring any of your dirty clothes. They truly know how to run a good business.

Excellent care given to all they do. I love the fact that they are local and the owners are from here and understand the town. Excellent service for cleaning and tailoring, owners are always on hand....

Friendly folks, been using them for years for cleaning my formal wear. They get it turned around in 3-4 days but can usually get it done a little quicker if you ask.
