Stopped by around 4pm after a busy workday to be told the tailor wasnt there and I would have to come back in the morning. The website nor any reviews mention needing to make an appointment - so make sure to call ahead. I was pretty upset and the girl behind the counter did not seem to care. ETA: I went back this morning before work and the service from the tailor was SO BAD. He tripled the price I was quoted last night and acted like it was my fault for showing up when he wasnt there last night. The tailors hours are not the same as the cleaners and arent posted anywhere, so Im not sure how I was supposed to know that. So I backed out. This place is probably good for people without strict time constraints (students and the like), but they have literally zero respect for other peoples time. And they wasted a whole bunch of mine :-|

I came in to get a suit and blazers altered, as well as dry cleaned - extremely busy and not tremendously communicative about alterations. I have since picked up my clothing, now noticing that my suit and pants too need to be sent back, now two weeks out, since the initial job seemed to simply rip into seams without taking much time or effort to ensure the quality matched the rest of the piece of clothing as it had been originally manufactured. Id say come here for dry cleaning at best, but I think finding a more local in-shop tailor who has the time and attention to detail would be the better option. I very much wanted to be satisfied with my experience here, but given a woman who was also picking up having a similar alteration issue in terms of quality, Id have to say this is not the first time....

Porter Sq Dry Cleaeners saved the day! I had a bridesmaids dress that was too tight and had a broken zipper and the wedding was 5 days away. I brought the dress in on a Monday morning and they assured me the zipper could be replaced or fixed and the dress could be taken out and it would be ready Thurs evening. Well it was ready early (Thurs am) and I tried the dress on and it fit beautifully. The zipper was replaced with one that was the exact same color (an obscure teal color). Will definitely return for alterations in the future.

This "Mom and Pop" shop does a good job turning around dry cleaning and alterations orders quickly. The prices are very reasonable to low, but I suppose this is one of those instances where you get what you pay for. They do a very nice job hemming jeans - the finish is the best you can get. However, my wife and I have both had issues with the hemming of pants; weve both had pairs hemmed too short and I had a pair that was hemmed unevenly (one leg longer than the other).

This dry cleaner is owned by a couple that provides quick turnaround, does an excellent job tailoring, and can get tough stains out. My wife has had quite a few pairs of pants tailored there and they all fit perfectly. They were also able to get out some stains from a few shirts of mine. Besides the quick turnaround of clothes, theyre open late so you can go pick up your clothes after work. They are highly recommended.‎ Hours: M-F 7:30a-7p Sat 8:30a-5p

This is where I go to get jeans hemmed, dresses taken in or let out, zippers repaired, stains removed, and my fine unwashablees dry-cleaned, and I couldnt recommend them more. The turnaround is quick, the employees are super-nice and professional, and the cost is low. I highly recommend Porter Square Dry Cleaners if you live in the neighborhood.

Based on the reviews I decided to try this place out. I had a nice cocktail dress with several stains on it that I thought might not come out, as well as some intricate beading I was afraid might be damaged. They did great job and the dress looks like new, all for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this place to friends.

I have been coming to this family-run place for over a decade and could not be happier. They are great! Clothes are usually back before they expect and they can expedite with the best of them, both dry cleaning and tailoring! Theyve saved my butt a few times :) Highly highly recommend!

Quick turnaround - I dropped a blazer off Tuesday afternoon, they said itd be done Friday, and it was actually done Thursday. They send a text when things are ready for pickup, including your invoice number and the cost.
