Frustrated with the roots showing so quickly on my highlighted hair (from a different salon)--literally within 3 weeks of spending over $200--I decided to let my hair go back to its natural color to see what I had. Surprisingly I found I still had the sandy brown over most of my head, but a swath of a lot of grey on one side in the front. I knew I wanted to go back to coloring my hair but was unsure whether to go blonde or brown. I began noticing womens hair color and would often ask those whose color I really liked if they would mind sharing where they got theirs done. Invariably, it was at Urbane. When I went for the initial consult, Laura was most patient in helping me decide what was right for me. She listened carefully and suggested that with so much grey tending to show up in the front of my hair that blonde would likely show the least regrowth. She does a duo process of foiling and coloring. I have been thrilled ever since and often have women complimenting me on the color. Additionally, her staff is most kind and gracious. I cannot recommend them highly enough! You wont be disappointed!

Ive been coming to Urbane since it opened, and to Karen even before that! Its the best - professional, friendly, an OUTSTANDING salon in every respect! I always feel welcomed and pampered to the hilt beginning with amazing haircuts and color as well as soothing shampoos, coffee, and treats! I wouldnt want to go anywhere else, and I have lived in Washington, West Hartford, etc., many places with "swanky salons". Nothing else compares!!!

I have been with Laura for over 25 years. I have followed her from Christophers salon to Casa Bella. I am so happy that she and Karen share this Amazing salon. Laura makes me beautiful every 8 weeks
