I had trouble enrolling my son into the daycare program since day one. At no time did someone tell me it was no longer located in New Britain. My sons paperwork would get lost between the main office and the actual center. I paid cash one week and was still billed several times, making my account negative. When I would visit the center during nap time, one of the female teachers had her leg over the female child holding her down on the cot. Wasnt restraining her horribly but made me question it. When I needed to move my son to 5 days a week and was told that they would get back to me several times and was not contacted back. So I finally decided to remove my child, and they will not give me my money I paid for in advance back as now it was a "system credit" because of the time I was overcharged, and the YMCA is continuing to pull money from my account, causing me financial issues. When I call to speak with the director no one is quite sure where he is or when he will be in, but I could leave a voicemail. This is was last resort and an obvious big mistake.

So far I find the staff to be amazing. Ive found them friendly and helpful and very personable. Ive only been to the new britain facility, but the facilities arent amazing, but theyre not bad either. I feel like everything is clean and reasonably up to date. Ive never felt concerned for mine or my kids safety. I would Def recommend.

DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAX! I CANCELLED 3 MONTHS AGO AND STILL GETTING BILLED, I CALL TO FIGURE OUT WHY?! I GET THE OH YOU DIDNT WRITE A LETTER TO CANCEL, OK I SPOKE TO SOMEONE ABOUT IT AND THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD ME CANCELLED (AT THE TIME) TO NOTICE IM STILL GETTING BILLED SO I WANT A REFUND AND THEY NOT WITH IT! #LAWSUIT?!!

Yea new britains facility is not bad but the #1 reason i dont go there is because the showers need improvment like curtains ect, nobody wants to be watched in the shower these day nor feel like there in jail, and with the amount of perverts out there i wouldnt let my kids go in that shower!

Ive been a member for less than a month, but I plan to stick around for a while. I mainly go there for the pool (which is the cleanest public pool Ive ever seen, by the way), but I also enjoy the racket courts. Very friendly environment in general.

We have been using the New Britain YMCA for a few years every summer for for a basketball league. The facility is very accommodating and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Great, community-based YMCA!

I find the YMCA of New Britain to be unresponsive toward members needs and desires. Plainville is a better alternative though the staff at New Britain is exemplary. Management is not.

Its a stupid rule that people under 18 cant be there after 8:30 on weekdays and 5 on weekends.

Was treated as a criminal, if going there from rehab stay away to infested with drugs!!!
