2 STARS NOW, could/should be 4 stars. I have been a 10 year plus Black Card member at New Haven, Amity PF. The 10 years in itself is an endorsement. . Good value, multiple locations. Over the past 5 years at Amity, the number of benches in the mens locker room has gone from 3 to 2, then 2 to 1, now zero. With the ZERO situation, I have politely asked 3-4 times if we will get benches(s) back. No one knows. Not a good situation. A "Not my job" attitude exists. But this is a management issue, not a staff issue. It creates a hazard due to increased risk of falls.ould be a legal issue. Please address this situation which DOES NOT EXIST. at your other PF branch locations. Also, I dont see where Amity has a Manager consistently on site. The last I remember was Brian, a competent manager. You know a manager can make a difference Thank you.

Had a horrible experience with their management. Switched to a different gym over a year ago and they didnt cancel my membership, have had to spend 4 months trying to get my money back, not only did the employee fail to give the manager all of the information I dropped off, the manager then didnt relay that information to the regional manager. Worst costumer service I have ever experienced in my life. Every single person from the location manager to the regional manager have been extremely rude, and not helpful. Never giving another cent to Planet Fitness anywhere.

The GYM is extremely clean and the staff are friendly and always accessible. You will always find them cleaning, answering questions if you have any and always pleasant. I like the fact that I dont have to pay additional fees for a trainer. The trainer, Jay, is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and accessible. Love, love love the atmosphere and the people in this club!!! This location is very quaint and cozy. They have up to date machines and plenty of cardio and strength machines. I will always keep coming back!!!

Cancelled my membership 2 yrs ago. Theyre still charging my credit card. Moved across the country, havent been in the club since, but they keep charging my credit card anyway. Called again, asked them to cancel my membership, but they refuse! They say they need a Certified Letter, according to policy - which I sent to their place of business, but which was returned. What a racket, I want my $250 back. Very poor customer service.

I had no issues with the staff or the cleanliness of the facility or anything like that. However having some experience with lifting I was disappointed with the lack of free weights. While I know PF is not targeting power lifters or body builders, as a gym enthusiast and a former athlete its something I look for.

Great place with super awesome facilities! Convenient, with a Stop and Shop, dollar store, and a hair salon right there! I usually work out every Saturday morning and get a shampoo from the Great Clips next door, then my groceries. Nice staff and huge windows so that its not too claustrophobic. Would recommend!

Its a judgment free zone and the staff are awesome. Always smiling and having fun among each other as well the members. Its a place to escape if your having a rough day! Talk to the staff theyll cheer you up!!

Compared to some other Planet Fitnesses Ive been to, this one has nice natural light and higher ceilings. Feels newer and cleaner than most. I use the treadmills, and theyre newer models in good condition.
