I always try to avoid the big chain store mechanics that charge an arm and a leg because they always give you the most expensive fix for a repair that may have a much cheaper option. This is my first time at accurate auto and I have to say they are great. Being from NYC I am used to going to a reliable non chain store mechanic and these guys have filled that void for me here in Connecticut. They let you know whats being done and inform the customer of other options and what they recommend. Prices are very good. Avoid big chain store mechanics and just visit these guys. They where recommended to me by a friend and I dont see myself going anywhere else.

I drive for Uber full-time, so its important for me to have as little down-time for my car as possible. When I needed brakes I decided to stop by and make an appointment based on a recommendation by a local body shop. I talked to one of the guys there and told him I needed a brake job. He listened carefully to me, gave me a quote for the work needed, and said he would work on my car next. Two hours later I had my car back, and the cost was even a little less than his quote. I can highly recommend Accurate, based on their honesty, work ethic, lack of b.s. and hype, quality of work, fair pricing and ability to listen to and meet the customers needs.

My car blew a coolant pipe in I-95 coming back to CT in Norwalk, about 1.5 hours away from my house. I was able to get the car towed to Accurate Auto Repair after speaking with them over the phone. I never met Vinny in person since I had to work the next day. All of the business was done over the phone. He charged very reasonably, did honest work and did not over charge to fix the problem that I had. If I lived nearby, I would bring my VW back to him for any future work! Wish I could give more than 5 stars if I could, but I trust them with my car.

On a friday afternoon i had my van starter broken in Norwalk Sono, i had no choice i just google shops around me and start calling there. Nobody was able to help me, for one or another reasons- no bo dy, but these guys! They sended tech to me, free of charge! he kicked my starter and after he left i finally start my van, hit autozone and fixed it same day with my mechanic! So when you thinking where to bring your precious-piece of art-top notch vehicle dont go any further, just bring it to Accurate Auto!

Having been ripped off by another chain repair shop for a muffler replacement, I did some research this time before having my car towed for the starter repair. Glad that I chose Accurate Auto Repair as many other Googlers recommended. I feel that they are fair and trustworthy. Will definitely bring my car to them for any job in the future. There is nothing more reassuring than having a peace of mind that your mechanic can get the job done promptly at a reasonable price when your car break down.

Vinny looked over my used F150 that I had taken to a local dealer. He was great. As the name says, he was much more accurate, which in this industry means he was honest. He was fair and honest, as simple and true as that. A friend recommended I see Vinny. I ended up getting rid of that truck and purchased a new vehicle. I would go back to Vinny in the future. Id recommend my mother go there if she lived nearby.

Best experience ever at repair shop. My truck was leaking oil terrible and so I called them Dec 30 to see if I could bring it in. This was my first time dealing with them and I saw good things on Google reviews. They told me to bring it in New Years Eve and they had it ready within 2hrs. Very reasonable price for the repair and such a pleasure dealing with Vinnie. I would reccomend them to anyone!

Had a new clutch installed for my 08 Civic Si. Everything went smooth and it was ready the same day I dropped it off. Very friendly people who work there and they respond super quick to questions. My rear motor mount was blown so they brought that to my attention and were able to replace it. Nice to know theres a place I can feel safe bringing my car to. Thanks again! -Nick

My car broke down and I was told by a different repair shop that I needed a new transmission. I decided to get a second opinion so I went to Accurate Auto. I ended up not needing a new transmission, but did need some major repairs. Still, they had the best prices and everyone was very nice. I would definitely recommend them.
