If I could give them 0 stars I would. I got work done by them a little over 3 years ago. They painted the hood and bumper of my car the wrong color and was willing to fade it for me to match the rest of the car. Sure enough I fought them and they painted it the right color. Thats not why Im writing this review now though. Recently my car was hit while parked in a parking lot and I went to a different Auto Body shop because of the paint job situation. Well it turns out thats not the only thing they did wrong. They welded a side panel to the bracket that holds my engine (something that should be bolted on). They drilled holes bigger to make parts fit and then didnt paint it so there was rust everywhere they did work. They didnt bolt everything down, welds and bolts were missing. They did a half-ass job on my van and god forbid that welding they did to the right panel caused any frame damage there is NO WAY they insurance company from the other driver would cover it!!! Im pissed!!! I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! They do a horrible job and anyone who goes there god forbid you get into another accident you could be screwed. Im so glad I found this new place.

Even with my being tri-lingual, I can not find the right words to describe the extraordinary service that I had received @ Hassell. For those of you who have been through the hassle of getting your car fixed after an accident know just how hard it can be. For those of you who have been lucky enough to avoid such situations until now, ........ just go to Hassell and they will take it from there! They will get you in a rental car, deal with your insurance company for payment & call you when your car has been fixed & paid for. My Prius was returned to me in pristine condition including the new car smell. They even went as far as CLEANING the inside of my car immaculately. Thanks a million to Bob & the whole Hassell team!!! (sorry, I only remember Bobs name cuz its spelled the same backwards)

Once again Hassell Auto Body exceeding my expectations. This is the third time we had to use Hassell due to an accident. There is no other place I would take my car. From the first phone call to the moment you pick up your care you receive what seems to be VIP treatment. They are there to be an advocate for you and to make sure your car is fixed properly and with the proper parts. This Time I dealt with John, Liz and Sue. Every interaction was professional and I always received a call back. I hope never to use Hassell again, but you can be sure if the time comes and I do need them they will be my first and ONLY call.

I cannot say enough about how professional, courteous and most importantly HELPFUL Hassell Autobody are! Thankfully, I dont have much experience with car accidents. I was walked through all of the steps, everything was explained to me and they even helped me with my insurance company when SAFECO wasnt returning my phone calls. LandRovers are notoriously not the easiest to deal with and when I got mine back it looked even better than it did before the accident! I, without hesitation, fully recommend Hassell Autobody - they turned a terrible accident into a positive experience.

I recently had my vehicle repaired at Hassell Auto Body in West Babylon and I cannot express how professional and HASSELL FREE my experience was from start to finish. From towing my car, handling the insurance company, getting me a rental, getting my car back when promised. I will never go anywhere else. What a great experience. It may be crazy to say but I am happy I had an accident. I met the such wonderful caring people and I got my car back better then it was before. They also installed my car seats!!!!!

This was absolutely "no hassle"- not only wast repair done without any problems, my car came back to me as good as new - spotless inside and out - and what a delightful surprise to see that a five year old two foot long crease dent was taken out because Doug is OCD about cars leaving the shop in perfect condition. And just an FYI, Hassell gives back to the local community by opening on a Sunday and letting Boy Scouts and other groups do car washes for fundraising!

This is the worst autobody shop dont trust them with your car doug hassell is a crook any only cares about billing the insurance company as many times as he can to get every last penny. He dont care about the customer. Illegal citizens are doing the work who he pays off the books for next to nothing....its a hack shop....stay....away...this place is -10....Doug paid to get voted best shop....because he is the worst shop

Two weeks after purchasing a new car I got hit and already needed two new doors put on. Bobby and Denise over at Hassell made an upsetting and frustrating situation literally hassle free for me and I cant thank them enough. Got my car back fast and I think it may actually look better than when I first purchased it. I would never use any one other than Hassell in the future. Thanks again!

The best auto body repair shop on Long Island. Great work with the nicest staff you will ever meet. The owner Doug Hassell knows his trade, and stands by his work. An added plus, is they will help with the complicated insurance process, there is also a rental car company two doors down from them, which is very convenient when dropping off and picking up your vehicle.

This is the only company I will trust with any type of auto body repair. Excellent work and the owner truly works for you not the insurance company. Also - they are community minded - you can check the install of your infant car seat there and they will get you all set up properly at no charge.

I would not hesitate to use Hassell Auto Body again. From start to finish they kept me informed of what was going on, arranged for a rental car, dealt with the appraiser and fixed my car so it looked new! When I picked it up it was freshly washed and waxed! Excellent Service!!
