Before taking my car to a shop to get work done to it, I tried to do as much research as I can. Based on the research I had done, TheShopCT was my top pick. I traveled from NJ to CT in order to have a couple things done to my Subaru. I did a bad job tracking time as well as hit traffic on my way to TheShopCT. When I arrived, I was late and the shop crew was getting ready to go home. They stayed in order to talk to me about my project and get my car in the bay. I originally planned on waiting on the car in order to drive it back home the same day. They were willing to stay and take care of my car, or I had the option of being taken to the train station and letting them take care of it the next day. I chose to have them take care of it the next day; that way I wont have to drive home in the middle of the night and so that they have a fresh start to the day while working on my car. I kept in touch with Jimmy and he always responded quickly to my e-mails. I was also happy with his pricing, as I expected the bill to be greater than it was. This was my first interaction with Jimmy and his team and I felt like we were family. Im very happy with what has been done to my Subaru. Keep it up TheShopCT!

Brought my Stage 3 2015 STI to The Shop CT for a protune. After being invited into the dyno room Mike started with an interview asking about the history, mods and my own expectations from the tune. Then after about an hour of pulls on the dyno it was time to jump in the car. He took it on the road with me in the car... made a few adjustments at the side of the road then it was my turn. WOW! Definitely an improvement in low end torque and now the confidence that my car is running a safer more powerful tune. Mike was able to answer all of my questions and was fantastic to talk to. Jimmy the owner was great too. He was genuinely interested in my experience and the results of my tune. Needless to say Im impressed and satisfied. When it comes to choosing a shop you want a place with a good reputation, fantastic customer service and the results to back it up. The Shop CT has it! Dont hesitate to get a protune here for the most expensive toy/daily driver you own!

First of I want to mention that the service and the overall quality handled with my car was outstanding.. I had my car dropped off at the shop to get some parts installed and a pro-tune.. And I was amazed with the same day results. The staff was phenomenal, I was given a courtesy drop off to the train station because I needed to make it to work the same day. I was also very well pleased with the advice for future upgrades given from the owner James. There was a slight issuse on my end with a balance but the very nice lady Liz was very patient and understanding throughout the entire process as it was quickly resolved! I would absoutley do business with The Shop again and again.. I also highly recommend anyone else whos untreated in any modifications with their vehicle! This place is the best!!! I am fanatical about maintaining my car, and expect things to be done correctly the first time. The Shop worked with me to solve the issues I was having after the dealer could not fix the issue. Lisa made scheduling easy (they even gave me a ride home when I dropped the car off) and Jimmy kept me informed on the status of my car (he took pictures of the work and called me over the weekend to check up on the car after I picked it up). I got the feeling that they really cared about the work they do. The price of the work was less than I was quoted. How often does that happen? I will be taking both of my cars to them from now on for routine service and performance upgrades. Finding a garage that you trust is not easy, and I feel like now I have found one. Done right the first time. Project: 2011 CTSV was dropped off at "TheSHOPCT", Full suspension swap from OEM to Aftermarket coil-overs Full Exhaust with custom fab to keep my cut outs working Wheel Alignment ( last place I took it to missed that ) Full Brake and rotors Flashed Tune When I picked it up EVERYTHING was done right with no issues. Each sub-project was completed with no excuses or warning lights no outstanding issues. The Car is a Beast, This place is second to none on the East Coast. I was so impressed with the quality of work after driving around for a few days I had to drop them a call and thank them. Sidenote, dont be afraid to ask questions during the build process. They are excellent in objectively advising you on your options,

The owner, James, took the time to talk with me about making power on the FA platform, and was cool and helpful. If I decide to do something more serious with my car, this will be the only place I take it.

It took all day but they made sure it was right and took me around to make sure I knew it too they put me in the drivers seat and help me understand what was going on... dyno could be a little more calibrated but a good solid place with answers for all
