The staff is very courteous and very forthright about what they are doing. Estimates are accurate; no sticker shock when you pick up your car. I have to give a slightly lower rating because I had them mount four new tires onto my rims and they mounted them all backwards (outside sidewalls facing in). That being said, all four tires are mounted the same and all four wheels are balanced. My wheels were also not harmed in the process (which could have been a possibility if someone really was incompetent). Everything was done right, with the exception of the mis-match of direction, and it was done at a fair price.

Ben and the guys are GREAT. Very communicative about the situation and options. They provided a loaner car for my Subarus head gasket job. I was able to stop by and talk with Ben and meet the mechanic working on my car. We were able to talk about the job and they showed me what they were doing and why. Ben always bends over backwards to accommodate me and my familys crazy scheduling needs. You really cant pay for service this good, just give them one shot. Youll be in good hands.

I have been taking my car to Portland Automotive for many years now. I have never been scammed into buying anything and in my opinion, they have always done an outstanding job of servicing my car. They are very honest with their customers and I appreciate their effort in providing me with first class service from drop off to pick up. Their technicians have diagnosed problems on my vehicle that a dealership could not find. That type of service goes a long way.

Dont be fooled by the coupons and free loaner. Portland Automotive will scam you. I took my minivan in to get the brakes checked out and was told that the vehicle was a death trap and needed 4 new pads and 2 new rotors at a cost of $800. I took it to a more reputable repair shop that told me the brakes still had 30-40% wear left on them and replacing them now would be a waste of money. They would have charged only $300 to replace 4 brake pads.

No way is this place a 4.4. Try 5.0. Kinda pissed me off to see such an unfair assessment of this business. Ive even brought my Ferrari to these guys. They are fair, honest and trustworthy. Ben is great and always makes whatever issue my car is dealing with go away fast and at a price I feel is fair. No way is this a 4.4 business. My guess is the competition had their stay at home wives corrupt the numbers. Lol.

Love this business. Have been going here for about 4+ years and have always gotten fair and honest advice and service. Would not think of going anywhere else. They go beyond expectations, to the point of Justin driving to my house to retrieve my oil cap from inside the engine (where I couldnt find it). Who else would do this? They deserve best auto mechanics in the state.

I am new to area n I went here based on Google reviews I found on repair shops in area..have to say was extremely satisfied and please very polite knowledgeable place and they dont want to do any work unless its confirmed thats what needs to be done which i think is great .
