I disliked this place! Ive recently moved to CT and was looking for a salon/spa to wax my legs and bikini area. I wax my legs ever summer regularly for years, and know what to expect and how it should be done. I will pay a little extra, to ensure that I have a clean and professional experience. My first dislike, is that they double dip into the wax. This is a big no-no, and I actually had to ask that at least they use a new dip stick with me. I really should have just left after that. I have no idea what their other clients may have, and i dont want to be exposed to it. Also, this is suppose to be a spa, not a rundown place that does some waxes. Secondly, the lady i had, and who ensured me she has been waxing for years, would pull the strip in the wrong direction, rewax areas that she has screwed up on, missed areas that she would have left if i had not pointed it out, and refused to believe me when i suggested the proper way to wax. My legs were a mess, and super irritated. I had burn marks, and her technique was so poor, that she ripped the hair apart rather than pull them out at the root. It is the last time I will go to this place. Maybe their hair salon is better, but their waxing service sucks!

I am a longtime customer of Aqua Salon and I will continue to be a customer forever. Over the years, my hair has changed, and my stylist, Todd, has gone above and beyond with finding the right products to meet my needs. He is more than a colorist and stylist; Todd is an educator in color. Because of his vast knowledge, he has helped me combat side effects that I once experienced due to my allergies. I do not worry about an itchy scalp anymore, and I always get amazing compliments on my color and hairstyle. The salon staff is always helpful and professional. I love my salon days!

I have been getting body perms for year! they always fried my hair and change the color of my hair. I have pretty thick hair that is poker straight. I have been to many hair salons but Aqua Salon and Spa has been the best! Christine is a wonderful colorist and stylist. She always listens to you about your hair and has great ideas for your hair.The staff is always friendly, professional, and the salon is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this salon.

Ive been waxing with Diega for years now and shes fabulous. Shes professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I dont trust my eyebrows or arms to anyone else. Ive also had facials and its been a great experience. Dont believe those old Google reviews, Aqua is a great salon.

I just wanted to share some positive vibes! I just got back to work after getting my hair cut and styled by Cat. I couldn’t be happier. The cut is hot, everyone was super sweet, the prices were affordable and Cat was the best! I will definitely be back. Kudos to Aqua!
