We just had Dave and his crew caterer our wedding at Lighthouse Point Park and couldn’t be happier! Dave was so awesome and flexible in working with us on a menu and details that we had envisioned and in keeping with our budget. Our pre-planning experience with him was great, but even better was the day-of with a fantastic, professional, and polite crew and delicious food! Dave was quick to respond and although brief in his responses he really was on top of everything and the day came together perfectly. Still craving his food! Would definitely recommend David Grant Caterers.

FANTASTIC! We had a very elaborate wedding at The Carousel at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT on 9/26/15 and found David Grant to be very professional, accommodating, reasonably priced, and most important, absolutely delicious! The venue recommends a few caterers (not naming names here), and from my experience, David Grant was BY FAR the best with quality of food, flexibility in menu options, and in service and professionalism. The prime rib and lobster was to die for, and the rest of the food was also very delicious! Guests are still raving about the food.

This caterer has been used by my company for a few years because they are friends with one of our staff members. Everytime they come, they stink up the whole building with the smell of fish. We have to open all the window, even if it is freezing cold outside. Fresh, properly cooked fish should not stink. We looked into the truck they use for deliveries and it was disgustingly filthy. Their employees reek of fish too. Whatever you do, do not use David Grant Caterers. Totally unsanitary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to have Dave Grant cater my wedding and was extremely surprised to see the poor review included here. The staff and owner were extremely professional and diligent in catering to our every need. I received so many compliments on both the food and service and was very pleased with everything. They even helped when the baker had some problems getting the cake to us. Overall, Grant Catering added to a most perfect day for my friends and family and I loved the food.

David catered our wedding, held at the Lighthouse at New Haven Point Park. All the food was delicious! Our appetizers were: stuffed mushrooms, cold shrimp platter, cocktail franks wrapped in prosciutto, Swedish meatballs, tea sandwiches. Our entrees were baked red lasagne, chicken marsala, top sirloin of beef with bernaise sauce, rice pilaf, grilled seasonal veggies and green salad. Excellent food, great service, and we couldnt have been happier! Highly recommended!!

Dave Grant catered our wedding and it was the best ever! Our guests could not stop raving about the food. We chose a casual barbeque style meal and everything, even down to the corn, was absolutely delicious! And there was plennnnty for our wedding of 150 people. Price was right, including open bar. The bartender was great, accommodating and wanted everything to go smoothly. It even met our southern born and raised uncles high standards for bbq! Highly recommend!
