My boyfriend and I came here two separate times and will never return. The first time we sat at the bar, the counter was sticky.. alright whatever no big deal. Order a drink from their cocktail menu. It was a typical girl drink - should have been sweet. I watched the bartender make it too.. the entire glass was covered in a strawberry syrup. The drink itself didnt taste like anything. I dont even know if there was actually alcohol in the drink, thats how bad it was. We the tidbits, the steak was over cooked and the gravy was blah. Second time around, we ordered the baked clams, lobster roll and fried shrimp from the summer menu. The baked clams- they chop them and mix with the stuffing, which would be fine if there were actual clams in it. We had three clams shells that was all breading. No fish whatsoever. The others had a tiny little piece. The bread stuffing they used tasted like overwatered stovetop stuffing. It was mush. The rest of the meal was alright until about 4am when it had us both running for a toilet. I dont know what they did to the food, but its not worth the price or the pain. You have better options all around.

My wife and I recieved a gift cettificate for $50 to the Bulldog and were enjoying everything until the waitress brought the check. It was for $35 and change. The waitress told us the we would not receive credit towards a future visit as gift cetificates are good for only one visit. If other wods the restaurant proposed to rip us off for $15. We are seniors and have used and given gift certicates all our lives and never encountered anything like this. We asked the waitress to double check and she told us this was done all the time. We took a take out item to complete the value of the certificate but needless to say we will never go there again and will certainly discourage anyone else from doing business with this dishonest establishment. Imagine if the certificate had been for $100 or more as is common when givng certificates. I also intend notifying the Chamber of Commerce and consumer affiars to find out if this is even legal.

I have been here many times with friends who enjoyed the food, drinks, atmosphere and music. Anybody who suggests that the food is "pricey" must dine mostly at McDonalds with 2 for 1 coupons because the food is always great quality and correctly priced for a local bar. Try it if you are a fun loving person who enjoys a loud lively establishment or if you prefer, a seperate quiet dining room is also available. I enjoy both!

Great family dinning . We have been going there for three years and service has always been good and extreamly acomidateing . Have ordered supperbowl catering and the owner was fantastic and even help me carry stuff to the car. Truly class act!!

The Dinghy Shop User

FOr over 10 years the Wednesday Night Kayak Crew has been eating here after our twilight paddles. The staff is great! The wings are thumbs up! And they dont mind if youre a little soggy from being out on the water.

Most of the food is good. The staff is friendly. They have a decent beer selection. The quality of the food presented in trays for large party events seems to be much lower quality than the regular menu food.

Phenomenal place! Nice decor, very good beer and wine selection. Service was good. Food was ridiculously good. Mashed potatoes were world class. Decently priced for the quality of the food. Highly recommend.
