Update - Kevin, one of the owners called back and offered to detail the interior of the car. I thoroughly appreciated his gesture but politely declined it. Over the weekend I had driven the car with the windows rolled down for over 150 miles, thankful for one of the milder winters we are having here this time, and that helped clear up the interior air a great deal. Original post - Although the work done was reasonable, when I picked up my car at the end of the day it was stinking of cigarette smoke. Come on guys, I ferry my little children in it. Please have some respect and consideration for your customers cars. You simply cant smoke inside anyones car like this. You of all people should know how difficult it is to rid of cigarette smoke stench in the winter.

Do not do business with Stellers Garage. All the other reviews must be written by their workers. I just spoke to someone about towing my car and the guy had zero respect for the me. I was being extremely polite, but was getting nothing but rudeness, like I was bothering him. When he quoted me a rough price, I wanted to see if they were flexible on it. The guy responded by hanging up the phone on me. This should give you an idea of what kind of people run this place. UPDATE: I just got a call from the owner, who apologized and made it right. It seems that it was nothing more than an upset employee that I dealt with and that the business does in fact care about its customers.

As the child of a mechanic, and a woman, Im always wary about getting taken advantage of by auto service places. Not so with Stellers! Fred and his team are honest, do great work and stand by what they do. In instances when they couldve "sold" me extra work on my car they actually gave me good advice to wait and see while keeping an eye on the problem. Asking Fred "If it was your car, what would you do?" always pays out with an honest answer. We have all our cars serviced there, and have leaned on them for towing of my husbands vintage VW. Every interaction with them has been excellent. We highly recommend Stellers Garage!

My husband and I are very "financially conscience" and we called Stellers to have our 97 mercedes diagnosed because the excelleration was weak. Kevin spent more time with me than my own doctor does! He is very concerned with earning your business and doing the job right and for a fair price. We got our car back and my husbands response was, "It feels like a brand new car." Stellers is fair and does great work. You can trust them with your car.

Stellers is a gem. Like finding treasure. Treated me and my daughter fairly and advised us honestly as to our options. We were able to make an informed decision based on Fred and the owners great advice. Strike up a relationship with this garage and stick with them, these are great people. IF you ever have a problem, then talk to the owner, get it resolved and maintain the relationship, they are keepers.

I had the misfortune of breaking down in Shelton, CT and couldnt shift my car. I needed help and they responded in a BIG way. I had called 2 Chrysler/Dodge dealers and neither were any help. Stellers sent a mechanic to the Hampton Inn and got me on my way, all in less than 1 hour. AND they charged a VERY reasonable price. I wish they were located in the Manchester, NH area, I would definitely use them!

I would recommend Stellers to ANYONE in the local area. Erik at Stellers helped me when my car was stuck in a muddy, rocky offroad situation. He did a great job, was incredibly kind, and I felt like I could really trust his professional, honest opinion. Go there for your maintenance and repairs, and keep their number in your cell phone in case you ever need help...you wont regret it!

We have several older cars (10-15 years old) so we regularly have things go wrong. Everyone at Stellers is completely honest. They know what theyre doing; I never have repeat problems, once they fix it. They never overcharge. I highly recommend them.

Eric and the guys down at Stellars do a great job from start to finish. They know what they are talking about and most importantly are up front and honest. Unless you have a free maintenance plan under an existing warranty, go here.

I am an ASE certified Mechanic, however when I do not have the time or proper tools to do the job myself, I always trust Stellers. They do the job correctly, take no shortcuts and are completely honest in there Estimates.
