I stumbled upon Commuter Cleaners, desperate to have my dress suit cleaned in time to wear the same evening. Even though it was after 3 p.m., they managed to not only put a rush on it and have it looking as sharp as the day I bought it....but they also tightened the threading on one of my buttons that was getting loose. The girl behind the counter was extremely sweet, and they didnt even charge me for the rush job, or the button repair or anything. I was just charged the regular fee for cleaning, and the icing on the cake - - the most impressive thing of all......they were kind enough to deliver it to my door for me so I didnt have to pick it up myself. They dont usually deliver, but they were nice enough to help me out in a situation in which I absolutely had zero time. I stood in amazement at the door, my mouth dropped wide open as they stood there smiling with my suit in hand, wrapped in plastic, saying "Here is your suit Maam, have a safe trip". (I was flying out of the area that evening).....I LOVE YOU COMMUTER CLEANERS!!!

If youre in Stamford, CT, then this is a great place to get your clothes cleaned. Ive used their "same day" service when Ive been in a pinch - their delivery drivers are excellent and quality is top-notch. They also have home pickup and delivery service, which I cant use (unfortunately) as I live outside of the service area. But for same day dry cleaning in Stamford, you cant go wrong. The owner - Paul M - is a bit gruff on the exterior but inside hes a warm and bubbly teddy bear. Ive teased him that he should really consider a career in customer service because he is incredibly personable warm, and friendly, and always greets me and every customer with a bubbly smile. He really knows how to dress, and loves clothes himself. The guy has a passion to make Commuter Cleaners the #1 dry cleaner in Stamford!

One star is generous I would give zero stars I dropped off the dress that I purchased that I absolutely love. The only problem is the zipper in the back and gets jammed. This dress was for my birthday. My birthday is a few days away I went to pick my dress up . They charged me and everything and did not fix my zipper. Im highly disappointed . The guy who I presume is the owner said aww thats OK just refund her money . Very dismissive. No remorse for the horrible service Im so angry right now I can spit fire. Now the right thing to have done. Is to call me they had my dress for over a week. I would never recommend this place to anyone

What an incredible service. My father told me I needed to grow up and dry clean my clothes like an adult a few months ago when I graduated from college and to be honest I was a bit nervous. I didnt know if this would easy to handle... but BOY WAS I WRONG. I have had the pleasure of speaking to both owners, Paul and Patricia, on a few occasions and was blown away with how kind and patient they were with me. The customer service is really incredible and the service is professional and efficient as promised. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for all your dry cleaning needs!

This is an amazingly good dry cleaners. What they do is a) clean your shirts properly, b) smile, smile, smile. The owner - paul - is especially nice, and very attractive for a man (I should have got his number). They also have home delivery service, and same-day dry cleaning and shirt cleaning. I had a couple shirts done, and the price as OK, but the quality was impeccable. I will be back (and I will be saying Hi to Mr. Paul, again. Wow. What a cutie!).

I would stay away for now . They have had some issues (fire) and dont seem to be getting things right. I appreciated their effort re-doing my item which came out bad, but when this failed they told me tough luck and accused me of trying to take advantage of the situation. There are a lot better places to go in the area.

I have used Commuter Cleaners when I am in the Stamford, CT, area on business. The staff is friendly and helpful - they have 24 hour turn around, and can even do your business shirts in boxes, like in the old days. A real find for the business traveler!

I only gave 1 star because there was nothing lower!! The rudest people in the cleaning business!! Anywhere is better than this place!! They always lose your clothes and have the nerve to be rude to their customers!!
