I recently had a pair of jeans tailored, and they were not done right. The hem was uneven and they were not shortened enough. I brought this to the attention of the manager and he refused to refund me on the charge. I have been getting my jeans hemmed for the last 20 years, and never had a tailor do shoddy work, or not do the job properly, and then not make good on it. I have since moved from the area and will no longer do business with them, but BE WARNED- I would not use them for a tailor. As far as dry cleaning, they are like anyone else, but they do use a lot of safety pins on your clothes-to the point where you will find some after you have put your clothes on-seriously.

I think they r very in experienced. Skirts that have side zipper not hung properly. A white skirt w/ dirt stain that wouldve came out at any other cleaners. Skirt not even pressed, wrinkled like it had been worn, not even hung properly. Cheap-you get what you pay for.

One of the worst businesses I have ever seen. They lost my rug, strung me along for 6 weeks and then blamed their rug guy. They offered me pennies compared to what its worth. I am bringing them to small claims court. DO NOT GO THERE!

Realized at 2pm today that daughters communion dress needed to be steamed. The manager right away steamed it even though their staff was gone for the day. We will go here from now on. On the spot customer service!

DO NOT GO TO JIM DANDY CLEANERS IN WANTAGH. IF THEY RUIN YOUR CLOTHES THEY WONT COMPENSATE YOU FOR YOUR DAMAGES. YOULL BE FORCED TO GO TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT. OWNER AND MANAGER HAVE NO CLASS.

Good enough. My 3-piece suit was quoted at one pricee but had been changed to several dollars more between dropping it off and picking it up. Would have liked the quoted price to be honored.

Ok "Dana" Jim Dandy has been around since 1957, so clearly they are experienced. They also won best dry cleaner on long island this year.
