Do not leave anything of value with this establishment. I left a large heirloom Basque (white/red-striped) tablecloth for pressing and they totally ruined it by using some type of chemical that destroyed/bleached the two large red stripes. When I subsequently walked back in with the originally matching napkins (that I kept home and pressed myself) and the tablecloth to show and discuss, their faces dropped as I walked in the door and before I even said a word. When I showed the original vivid red-striped napkin and laid it on the completely ruined/bleached striped tablecloth, she started screaming at me (can you say guilty before even accused?), insulting and became verbally abusive. She denied all responsibility. So, not only do you get poor product service, the customer service is atrocious. Everyone makes mistakes folks. But own up and compensate. Literally adding insult to injury is no way to conduct business.

I have been in the mens apparel business for years and find Jem Lee Cleaners to be the best laundry and dry cleaner in the Metropolitan area. Many, if not all, of my apparel professionals friends and acquaintances use them. They hand fold shirts in a proper flat pack around a single tissue - no plastic or cardboard. All garments are finished by hand and it shows.

Only used them to hem a pair of jeans. The color of stitching was very poorly chosen. Im not familiar with the practice (usually buy off the rack fit to length) though my wife said it was the worst hem job she had ever seen.

Absolutely destroyed a fine/luxury tablecloth! Do not leave anything of value in their hands.
