I will update this review IF things get corrected, but at this time, I can not honestly give more than a 1 star review. Let me start by saying that I always believe in second chances for everyone. Sometimes, this should be waved and second chances should not be given. Day 1, I found a property I wanted to look at, and submit an inquiry through Zillow, Olsen Realty gets tagged as the Realty Office to host. The realtor that was selected contacts me, and he sets a date and time to show up at the property to take a look. Viewing day arrives, and I go to the property at 11:45, even though we agree on 12:00. at 12:15, I was getting in my car to leave, when the realtor shows up. 15 minutes late is unacceptable, but the realtor also had the stench of the night prior coming off of him, as if it had been a long night of drinking. I explain that I had already emailed someone else at his office, and they had failed to reply, so I refuse to talk to them again, and wouldnt accept phone calls from that individual. The realtor never showed up late or smelling of the night prior again. I purchased a property through the realtor, and all of his "preferred" financing companies and such. I had no issues with those items. This was my very first time purchasing, and I made one fatal flaw. At one point, there was a suggestion that since I am military, there will already be an inspection on the property, and I shouldnt need to pay for another inspection of the property. Always gets both inspections, as the VA inspection is simply for value purposes, and is NOT to find issues. The seller listed no known deficiencies or issues with the property. a few days after moving in, I found that the front door, the frame for the door, and the flooring under the door were rotting. I immediately went to home depot and had an estimate, and repair setup for the door and frame to be replaced. I contacted the realty office, as I have misplaced some paperwork in the process of moving, and can not locate the original sellers disclosure document. When I requested the document from the realtor, I was told "the deal is closed, You need to find your paperwork and contact the seller yourself". I contacted another realtor and asked if there was a way that I would be able to obtain that paperwork, and they informed me that the office that processed the paperwork with me had saved that information and should be able to provide it. I am getting shunned now that the deal is closed. I suggest find a realtor office that isnt going to let your spend your hard earned money, take their paycheck, and immediately shut you out.

Austin Hodge, Agent at Olson Reality was great!!! I had problems with the mortgage company dragging there feet, causing a delay on my house closing, I, my daughter and 8 month granddaughter would have been on the street, Austin got the seller to let us move in two days before closing, he also found us a house to stay in as a back up, He was in touch with me and nation one mortgage every day. He helped with everything, He also met us at the house and helped move furniture, He treated me like family, He went beyond the call of duty!!!, I will highly recommend Austin as your agent, I now consider him as part of my family.

My uncle put me in touch with Olson Realty, and Im so glad he did. Jim has been helping me with my fathers estate, and I really cant say enough good things about my experience. The estate has the potential of turning into a complicated nightmare, but Jims advice has put me at ease. Terrible experience!!! Dealer with a Realtor from this company was too good to be true. We honestly felt betrayed by our broker and realtor. Our realtor introduce us to our broker. NEVER WORK WITH A REALTOR THAT KNOWS YOUR BROKER PERSONALLY. We got cheated out of a deal due to lack of communication from our BROKER waiting last minute to do our paper work even tho we submit our documents one month in advance! COMMUNICATION WAS HORRIBLE! I will never recommend this company.

He is very knowledgeable and honest and directed us as best as he could through the process of buying our new home and renting our old.
