I could say that this day care is a good back up day care when school is out for the summer. I am disturbed at the amout of money it would cost for one child to attend field trips for the summer ($188). I feel that if you are located in a neighborhood that mostly consist of single parents, squeezing the last dime out of thier pockets only works against the parent and excludes children from activities if they could not afford. DC is known for free knowledge based activities for the family. It would be in the best interest for the day care to invest time into scheduling those type of trips verses ones that cost the most, with nothing to gain. Just a thought...
