I dont like to leave bad reviews, but the service was truly terrible. I took in a suit to be dry cleaned, and have a pocket repaired, as well as the buttons tightened. I was quoted one price for the dry cleaning, but charged a higher price when it came time to pay. Not a big deal, it was just a few dollars. Unfortunately, when I put on the suit the next day, I discovered no work had been done, the pocket was still ripped and the buttons were loose. I took it back, he promised to have it done by the next day. I picked it up, took it home, found the pocket had been fixed, but the buttons were still the same. Not only that, but the repair that was done was very poor, with loose stitches and uneven with the other pocket. So now Ive been in 4 times and paid $22 just for the repairs, and all I got was a poor stitch job. Extremely disappointed.

I was referred by a local resident that they have excellent alterations. I dropped off one pair of linen pants to be cleaned and heavy starched and one pair of pants to have cuff and hem let out to be lengthened for a wedding. They were open @ 7:30 am upon my arrival, which was nice and the customer service was excellent and extremely pleasantly friendly. The only downfall was their pricing. Possibly because of the organic nature, but the dry cleaned pair cost $7 and the alteration was $21. With tax I paid $29.95.

Ive used dry cleaners in Boston, New York, Philly and in other areas here in DC. By far, this is the best service Ive received in 20 years. Market Square Cleaners is reliable, thorough, and efficient. Several times they have accommodated my hectic schedule and delivered to my home with short notice. I once left my bank card in my pants pocket and they ensured it was returned safely. The clothes are always perfectly cleaned and pressed. Im very grateful for their consistent professionalism. Ive been taking my laundry and dry cleaning to Market Square Cleaners for 6 years now. Finding a dry cleaners and laundry that gets it right is not a simple chore as I usually have to go try four or five cleaners every time I move to a different city before I find the one I like. Ive tried a few others in the area and Ive always ended up back at Market Square Cleaners The quality of work is great and they are always on time. Counter service for drop off and pick up is super friendly. Always smiling.

This place lost more than $300 worth our clothes! They insist they dont have it, but my building has security footage of them leaving with our things. On other occasions, our stuff got mixed in with other peoples orders and the people were nice enough to return them to the cleaners. Clara Barton uses them, but I strongly urge you not too. We found out the hard way, dont do it too!

Im just visiting in the D.C Penn Quarter and needed to have my suits and wifes dress dry-cleaned. Needless to say, my last several visits have been phenomenal. Happy workers every time I visit. I would strongly recommend everyone to give them a shot.
