I really wanted to like this place because I work just around the corner and it would have been super convenient to drop off my dry cleaning here, however I will NEVER come here again and will not recommend this place to any of my co-workers! I had a couple of stains on a dress, and I understand that stains are hard to remove, but other dry cleaners will at least work to make the stains fade so that they are not as noticable. I think like all they did at Park Cleaners was place a bag over my dress and said it was "dry cleaned!" Take the $10 you would pay to dry clean a dress and go somewhere else! Also, it was incredibly difficult to understand what the owner was trying to communicate.

Very helpful with tailoring. I bought a suit mid-afternoon and needed it the next day, and they were able to tailor it perfectly and have it ready for me the next morning right at opening for no extra cost! The prices are standard for tailoring. Cant speak to the cleaning service, as Ive never used it. They are the most polite couple, and I can imagine these other people giving poor reviews for customer service must have done something pretty annoying to be yelled at in *Korean* (not Chinese).

Parks cleaners washed and folded a bag of laundry for me in fairly quick time (24 hours) and did a perfectly good job. However, having assumed the price would be reasonable (typically $10-$12 in NYC), I was stunned to be charged over $40 for 10 pounds of laundry when I came to pick it up. Lesson - negotiate the price before you drop your washing, youve got no bargaining power at pickup time...

Ive been going to Parks for years and never had any problems. Their pricing is competitive to every other dry cleaner in downtown DC. To get 7 dress shirts laundered was just under $11. Dry cleaning a 2-piece suit was about $12. And for the benefit of future commenters, Im fairly certain the very nice couple that runs the place are Korean, not Chinese.

They are on my way home from work, so its very easy for me. They use organic chemicals to do the dry cleaning, and Ive noticed my clothes smell better, and dont wear out as fast. They are fast, and Ive never had any problems. Price is reasonable, they are open until 7 during the week, and are open of Saturdays.

Maybe I went on a bad day, but the two people behind the counter spoke about 3 words of English between them. I tried for a few minutes to explain what I wanted to have done to my shoes, but I had no luck communicating, so I left rather than chance it.

It used to be very convenient and relatively good service for the past 8 years, but the woman behind the counter has yelled at me twice in the past month because she takes too long to find my clothes. I will not go back for that poor service.

Great value and great service - you can really save a bundle compared to the cost in a hotel. Mens shirts were $1.55 laundered and pressed (compared to $6+ in the hotel). They are friendly and professional - youll certainly want to return.

These people ruined one of my favorite pairs of dress shoes. After expressing dismay, was yelled at in Chinese. I was then made to PAY to get my destroyed shoes back. If you value your articles, take your business elsewhere.

AVOID PARKS!! They dont publish prices and way outcharge the competition. I also found them to be quite rude and the quality of the service to be average. I would highly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Was not happy with the services I. they gave me cloths that where not mine and they where about to hand me shirts that was not mine. I would not go back. it was enough that i had to go back twice.

Everytime I visit, the owners are extremely friendly and kind. More importantly, they do an excellent job within a short period of time. I wouldnt even think to go anywhere else.

I have sent several pairs of shoes for resole, heel tips replaced and shine. wasnt happy with the one pair; I asked that he fix it. He did problem solved. Reasonably priced.

Dropped off two pairs of shoes and they were friendly, quick and did a very impressive job. Much cheaper than the shoe repair shop I went to on G street.

Shoe "repair" was a joke. They can only do very simple polishing, and refused to buff out scuffs. Wont come here again.
