It was my first time getting an haircut in DC. I was well greeted as soon as I walked in with no appointment made. First thing noticed is that there was no waiting list so you get to be taken care of as soon as you arrive, which, might be also due to the plenty of staff. Inside spacing isnt a concern at all, which is a nice addition to the customer comfort and experience. My cons: The guy was at time slightly distracted and a bit too involved in the conversation going on around, which I thought was shifting is focus away from what he was doing. Although, this perception of mine could have maybe be just "me". My Pros: The guy perfectly cut my hair! he did exactly as I said while adding a few things here and there. I mostly like that he was taking his time, not rushing from one customer to the next trying to make more $$$. He was also willing to listen to any of my suggestions and make proper adjustments as needed. Conclusion: My overall experience with Dashery was positive. The thing I care about the most when walking out of a hair salon is my look, and my cut looked great walking out of there... I will definitely go back!

I have been going to Jarrod for seven years now. Hes one of the few people Ive let cut my head in that time, and the others were more by necessity while not in DC. Im not normally the type to write reviews but after recently having some bad haircut experiences while traveling out of the area for work, I feel its my duty to let others know about the top notch quality of his cuts, as well as his barbershop. Should anyone have to look up reviews for barbershops in the DC area while here visiting, looking for a new barber, referring a friend, or whatever the reason may be, The Dashery is your place. Outside of Jarrod, The Dashery employs other highly skilled barbers. Ive yet to see a dissatisfied customer walk away from any of the barber chairs in this shop. Definitely check this spot out.

I am happy to say I finally found the best barbershop for me, if not in DC. I have been hopping from barber to barber since I moved here about a year ago. None being bad, just not on point for what I was looking for, especially not for the cost. Then I happened to try out TONY at The Dashery... GAME CHANGER. Not only did Tony correct mistakes of previous barbers, he helped me get the signature cut I have been looking for. If youre looking for a top notch barber that knows his stuff (and can answer virtually any question you have), GO TO TONY! Hes the best. Not to mention his work is affordable, and more than worth every penny. Dont stay unimpressed with your current barber- go to the Dashery and get in Tonys chair.

It was my 2nd time coming to The Dashery and I called to schedule my appointment the day of. I got linked up with Tony and I do not regret it one bit. He got the golden touch with all of the tools in the shop. The shop had a chill vibe on a Saturday, some good customers, and dedicated barbers. Tony aka Loc stayed longer than he had to but still promised to fade my hair and line up my beard. He had a lot of attention to detail and did not rush to get it done, even tho it was late so I could tell he is all about the craft. Cant wait to go again as this is most likely my go-to spot in the DMV area. Much respect

Found a barber for life, I dont like finding new barbers so when I find a true quality barber I stick with him and #LocTheBarber is a true quality barber. When he touched my hair he brought it back from "boy bye" to "hiiiiii"and you know what them extra Is mean. I"m telling you if you let this man cut your hair you will see an immediate difference, put him against any other barber in the city. He shows true passion and love for his craft he is of the few barbers who want you to look good for his satisfaction, you can tell he cuts hair to see the smiles of his customers. #LocTheBarber

Hello to people especially moms like myself who understand the importance of a mans haircut and his shoes. A sharp cut on a male makes him so handsome and outstanding. The only barber that has my vote for that detailed cut definition hands down is Tony at The Dashery. I read other clients reviews just like you are reading mine and decide to send my son. I am so happy I read the reviews and decide to send my son because they are true to point. The Dashery will be the only barbershop that I will let my son go to from now on. I love The Dashery...

Trouble trouble experience! The guy who cut my hair was trouble! He literally damaged my hair! I have a thin straight hair! Im not sure if hes even experienced or licensed! He was measuring my hair by looking at the mirror! The hair cut wasnt even consistent! The tools arent clean, and I dont recommend it at all! Unless if you dont care about your look and hair cut, go ahead and cut your hair and waste 30 dollars! I explained to him how I want my hair looks like, but hes trouble! I totally dont recommend it!

Agreed with the other reviewer, no experience or skill with straight hair. Got home and washed it just to notice the sides were totally different lengths, three bald spots and pushed back hairline all around my face. On top of that, their website says a cut is 25 bucks... lee charged me 35 on the spot. If you dont have experience or skill, be respectful and be up front with the client. For those with straight hair, avoid getting played and just dont go to this barber.

Dont go there if you want a decent haircut. Those guys (or at least Bey) only knows how use the hair clippers, not sure he knows how to use scissors. He freaked out when I asked him to thin out my hair a little bit. He cut my hair way too short and I showed him a picture of what I wanted beforehand. If youre a black dude who simply needs someone to trim your hair with the clippers its fine but if you want a haircut that requires, you know, scissors, go elsewhere

Professional. Excellent Haircut. Extraordinary Customer Experience. Jarrod Croxton, the owner of The Dashery, has created great space where a young professional can get a haircut, engage in quality conversation, and even network with other professionals. Im impressed with the quality of barbers as well. I have and will continue to recommend The Dashery to my family, friends, and colleagues.

There is a reason when you look up best barber shop in DC, The Dashery is what you find. Tony saw me outside and knew I was in need for a good cut. Though a little pricey, its worth it. Tony cut me, and had my line up looking crisp (without pulling my line back like some inexperienced barbers do). I am very pleased with my haircut and will return to keep my hair lookin fresh

I bring my boys to this shop and Tony always does a great job cleaning them up. Everyone there is friendly/respectful towards one another and the shop is well kept. If youre a music lover like me you will enjoy listening to all of the great music that is played there:) I would definitely recommend Tony to anyone that is looking for QUALITY work!
