my son has been going to light years ahead for a little over 6months, he absolutely loves it he is in the twos.. he knows his teacher he loves them, they not only make it a safe enviornment for him there but they teach him so much, things that i dont have much time to teach him in less then 6months my boy went from barely talking to speaking in full sentences, counting in english and spanish his colors, shapes, abcs, so much he has manners he is well behaved it really gave him structure and a boost for me to continue teaching him, things that i go to teach him he already knows.. they work with him to potty train him everything i would teach him they do it all!!! not only does this school brighten my childs future and education but they are really there for the family, anything i need they help me with they truly are amazing the owners are hands on and they are great i dread the day he is no longer young enough to attend this daycare i will deffinitley use them for everything daycare, aftercare for when he attends public school.. i love them so much they help me in so many ways and if it was not for the owners maria and rodney and their staff i would be a nervous wreck to go to work they make it to where my child gets everything that he needs so that i feel he is safe and can go on to work and focus without worrying about my son they are also very on top of the rules and regulations they facilitys are always very clean and my child is rarely sick i would reccomend this daycare to eveyone if you are looking to enroll you must get into light years ahead it is the best daycare!!!!

Yes, I did tour your facility and everything I said is truth.I also did signed in. Its out dated, and it seemed gloomy. I saw no cribs in the infant area nor did I see any sleeping mats. Everyone is entitled to there opinions and thats what "Google review" is for. Hateful? How?... Please why dont you add pictures of the inside of your school??? Im sure its a good school, it just wasnt the happy, colorful, welcoming daycare I tought It would be. Thats all. BTW, you do have toys. I saw them! example: old cars outside the play yard with broken wheels. Also old kitchen like toys in the toddler area. BTW, what shouldnt be allowed on Google is all the fake reviews your daycare has. They all have the same writing style, the same strategy, the same information. Example: My child... Has been going to LYA for X of time. (Please. Dead give away. ) what you should do is focus on how to truly enrich your center, make it welcoming. Invest the money in new equipment and learning tools instead of making up reviews and responding to yourself. Best of luck. went for a tour, the room that the toddlers stay is tiny and cold. Everything looked outdated. No napping mats, and old toys. I got a creppy vibe from this place. It seems like its ran off of free childcare. To each, its own... Didnt like it. Wasnt convinced.

My daughter started going to Light Years Ahead since she was only 4 months old (in 2011) and I know shes gotten the best care there. The owner, Mr. Rodney, is truly dedicated to his day care and is deeply invested in the education his staff provides to all the children that attend. His wife, Miss Maria, is one of the most caring people I know. She shows true love to every single child there and has made me feel comfortable leaving my daughter there since such a young age. The staff all know my daughter by name and welcome her with enthusiasm every time I drop her off. Although my daughter has not been attending in the past few months (due to me staying home from work with a new baby), we still go there to visit the owners and former teachers. My daughter seems happy to see everyone again, which makes me happy as well, and it puts me at ease to leave her and her brother there again when the time comes. I picked Light Years Ahead because I knew they would treat my child like a child of their own, and it has truly been a blessing.

If you are looking for a day care that actually cares about you and your children then look no further. Light Years Ahead Child Care Center is by far the diamond in the sea of day care centers. After having a bad experience at a national corporation with my 1st child we decided against day care and I would stay home. Well as things go, money was tight and I needed some adult time. Nervously I researched local day care centers and after going over, I went with Light Years Ahead. I couldnt ask for a better center for my children. From the first day; I was comfortable knowing the kids would be taken care of just as they would be at home. One concern for me was the food they would be served; the menu is wonderful and the kids are eating healthy meals made each morning at the center. It was also so important to me to know that EVERYONE at the center knew my children by their names and knew who I was. In this hectic world Light Years is peace of mind.

This place is truly not that great. Im convinced the reviews before me may have been paid for. My son attended here a couple years ago and he had a terrible time with a Spanish lady that doesnt speak English. He was about 4 years old and always ended up crying at some point during the day - almost every day! Who makes a kid cry? I live less than a mile from here and would not bring my son back here. ****3/28/2017 i didnt leave my son with this place longer than one month in the summer of 2015. The Spanish older lady made him cry. I dont have to adjust my review on a very real experience that we had at this location. The very fact that you are accusing this of a scam is a reflection of what you are capable of. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND LET PEOPLE SEE THIS ACCURATE REVIEW OF OUR EXPERIENCE AT LIGHT YEAR AND AS A BUSINESS ACT PROFESSIONAL - QUIT STRONG ARMING PEOPLE INTO CHANGING THE TRUTH AND FIX YOURSELF AND WHATEVER IS BROKEN ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS.

Edit. I just visited today to inquire about openings. One of the owners , I believe his name was Rodney, was very professional , kind, and open about the center. Unfortunately they did not have a spot for the short notice we had, but he gave us a tour and explained their programs in full detail. My previous review, I was skeptic because I always go off my gut and reviews...so I am updating my rating based on what I saw today. The facility was clean and it had a "like home" feel on the inside. Noticed multiple award recipent plaques on the wall, and loved the key code entry at the door. This was an issue at my previous daycare where anyone could come in the building. I addressed it and it was only temporarily handled. But this one is locked unless they let you in or you have a code. Overall as a potential client, I liked what I saw. I would suggest if you are still looking to give this one a look and see for yourself. Thank you for the tour!
