After posting about my disappointment, the owner of Brandon Electric contacted me and refunded the $105.00 and apologized for the encounter with the employee they had since terminated. I was very pleased that the owner stepped up and made it right. I will definitely do business with Brandon Electric in the future. Very disappointing encounter with Brandon Electric recently. They have done work for us in the past and I was very pleased, but this time they sent out a guy who had only been with the company for a few days to look at some florescent lighting I was having problems with and they charged me $105.00 for about 15 minutes of time and the guy broke the plastic covers on the lights. The "estimate" came in a few days later at more than $600, which included installing a switch on an outdoor security light Brandon Electric had put in for me a couple of years before, which should have had a switch on it in the first place. I purchased new florescent lights and had a handy man put them up at a total cost of about $200. I dont begrudge any company a reasonable profit, but I felt abused and gouged. I called and voiced my complaints, but got no positive results. I will NEVER use Brandon Electric again.

My experience is with Sergio Otero., the Electrician... Sergio called and confirmed his arrival time with me because he was going to be earlier than the scheduled time...(good start already). I required a 220 / 50amp outlet for a range I had purchased an d the old outlet appeared not to be seeding the 4 prong cord properly. When Sergio arrived on the scene, he listened to my elaboration and confirmed his assessment. Since I had already purchased the part, he verified I had the correct outlet for what it was intended for and installed it... Sergio was professional in every aspect; the reason why I chose Brandon Electric was due to the reviews about Sergio and a few others..so at a minimum, Brandon Electric employs professional...pricing for the work that needed to be done was reasonable but less would have made me feel even better, not taking anything away from what I was charged; considering if I would have done it myself, I would have been concerned about any safety hazards after the fact in my rental property...Sergio is top notch..thanks...

It is not likely that I would use Brandon Electric again. I accepted their estimate to replace Federal Pacific circuit breaker box to get up to code. On finishing the job , the electrician informed me that a metal conduit was not up to code and needeed to be replaced. The cost was almost as much as replace the box. To supervisors credit, I was informed that I could see if job would pass inspection before repairing. It didnt but not because of the metal conduit but because the meter box was too small. After repairing that , the job did pass city inspection but I discovered that box was never labeled , found one circuit that keep flipping off , and found that one 220 circuit had been mistakeningly connected to two 110 circuits . Brandon Electric did come out and address these issues but the experience I left me with little confidence in the attention to detail in the electricians work.

** WARNING ** A service call from them could cost you thousands more than you thought. I had a lighting stike at my house. They came out and serviced the house, but their management refused to help me with an Insurance Claim for damages, so they are costing me a ton more money. Told me, they cant say it was absolutely lightning because they werent there when it happened. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ELECTRICAL DAMAGE OR LIGHTNING CLAIMS. Follow up: After the owner read my reviews he sent me this message - not a good way to deal with an unhappy customer: "Jay I am the owner that talked to you....Ever heard of karma? Thats probably why these things happen to you because you are mean to people." (By writing a negative review??) " I hope karma catches up to you again." And thats the owner!!!! Crazy. I edited out the parts where he also alleged that he thinks Im trying to commit fraud. Bad people.

Nestor, representing Fast Service Electric (Brandon Electric) arrived at our home very close to the time of the scheduled appointment. We found Nestor to be friendly, enthusiastic and moreso, well trained and highly competent in the task he was to perform. Nestor completed the electrical work well within the time frame estimate he provided, took the time after installation to go over each item he had replaced step-by-step, answered any questions posed to him thoroughly and completely and then did something that does not often happen with home service representatives: he cleaned up the work area by not only removing scrap items but swept the floor and assured the area was equal to or better than when he started. Nestor is an excellent representative of Brandon Electric and as such, I will have no hesitancy in contacting that company for any future electrical work that is needed.

I normally do not participate in surveys but needed to make and exception here. Marc P of Brandon Electric has completed a few project at our home over the last 3 year period to include a total replacement of our breaker box. All work has always been completed in a timely and professional manner. Most recently we had an issue that required Marc to troubleshoot an issue we had with our lift station pump during an extended driving rain storm. He came and without hesitation proceeded to uncover the issue and resolve the problem which did not keep him dry. In my evaluation that is going above and beyond the call of duty. He is and exceptional technician, great communicator and dedicated to his profession, and on top of that he is an all around nice guy. I have nothing but the utmost praise for Marc and Brandon Electric. Both come HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.... 5 Stars!

Chris and his crew at Brandon Electric did an outstanding job for me. Friendly customer service, spot on estimate and professional electricians. I was a little apprehensive at first hiring an electrician but I did my homework. I made appointments with several electricial companies for estimates and got a lot of "aaahh s and well, aaaahhhs. Brandon Electric (Chris) met with me in my home, listened to my needs, and gave me some good ideas. He gave me what I thought was "a more than fair bid." Chris and his crew arrived when he said, completed the work in a timely manner, cleaned up the work area, and gave me a satisfaction walk-thru and was ready to go. That gave me plenty of time to get on with my day!!! 100% satisfied! Chris... Ive have a couple more jobs do. Thank You Brandon Electric... and Chris Rob Lewis

I am a Journeyman Electrician with 18 years. I worked there for 8 days. The techs I worked with were all knowledgeable, some were newer to the company than others. I would suggest a second estimate from anyone after seeing the operation first hand. The owner told me "we dont sell things to customers they dont need" in my interview. He encourages his techs to do the opposite. The material and labor in an estimated job are 2 to 3x what the tech figures for their commission. Thats not right. I was let go but was going to quit anyway because of the dishonest prices. There are some VERY honest techs, but one, Daniel, Dont trust him, a liar. Dont buy a $75 breaker torque job, its a scam. The tech gets $20 for selling you this unnecessary service. Call around.
