These people didnt fix my issue, and they were rude to boot! I came in with some requests. I had brought my own oil and filter, which I wanted the store to change. I had also brought in replacement fuel filters, which I wanted the store to change. My next requests were a coolant flush (first with the Ford VC-9 cleaner I provided with just water, and then the second time to fill up the truck with actual coolant), and for them to align my truck, rotate the tires, and fix the vibration issue that I was having at 55-60MPH. I asked them to diagnose the front end, and make sure it would not have any issues, as I was towing a trailer that weekend, and I wanted to make sure everything was straight. All said and done, I was supposed to pay $266.XX out the door, and pick up the truck the next day. From that point, my experience went awry. Three times during the day, I called to see if the truck services had been completed (each time, whomever was doing the work was unsure, and then they told me to call back later). I was instructed on my last call, that I could pick up the truck at the end of the day. I spoke with every person working in the store that day, and none of them could tell me if my truck had even been on the rack yet. When I showed up, the real trouble ensued. First, I was told that my bill was $290.XX, instead of the original $266 that I had signed for. I was told "the second fuel filter took more time, so we added more labor." That alone, is wholly unacceptable. When I signed for the labor, that was a binding agreement that Action Gator Tire would do the work for the price agreed upon, and the service writers tried to go back on this. I countered that I had not authorized this, and that I had been told the $20 labor would be sufficient, and that he did not have the right to change the bill of materials and labor costs without consulting me. [Name redacted] told me he could do whatever he wanted, and would do so if he wished. My next issue was with the use of a pair of coupons that I pulled down directly from your website. I had paid a full $89.95 for a coolant flush on the truck (plus an additional $20 that I had agreed to, for the fact that I wanted the VC-9 flush run through the truck with plain water first, then to have them fill the truck with coolant). I had also paid $79.95 for the alignment. I asked to have the coupon applied to the alignment (for approximately $40 dollars off of my total bill) and I was told "No." Both the store manager and the service writer said "youre cutting me too low" and would not honor my request to have the coupon applied. I told them that I had met the conditions for the coupon, and felt it would be fair to have it honored, at which point they told me that they would increase the price of the coolant exchange to $139.95, and then would apply the coupon, which I again said was wholly unfair, and a violation of the signed statement of work that was in front of them. I asked if they would honor my $7 off diesel oil change coupon, and they said they would also not take that, as I would only have ever been allowed one coupon (which they would also not honor), though the coupon clearly says it can be used with one other offer. I may have let this whole thing go and just not done business with them again, but for one thing that store manager said, which made me feel very belittled and quite distraught. When all was said and done, Noel said to me, "you could go ahead and write that email, but all they are going to do is send it to me and tell me to call you about it, and nothing is going to change." The service writer agreed, saying "thats right, he runs it." These people went out of their way to make me feel small, and I want everyone to know that they were rude beyond measure about it.

I recently stopped in with a steering knuckle and new hub I had removed from a Volkswagen broken down on the side off the road. Being that the manufacturer is what it is, the four bolts holding the hub to the knuckle werent your normal 6 point bolt. Knowing that a full service shop will have the needed tool and equipment to quickly remove and replace the hub I opted for a trusted name at Action Gator. To my surprise, I was told that the 30 second job of removing and replacing the 4 bolts, couldnt be completed during business hours today. After attempting to explain the car was on the side of the road and a young mother was waiting on my return with the repaired knuckle, I was rudely interrupted and told, "Tomorrow morning." As a former shop manager, I was appalled at such an unhelpful service manager. Ive been called ten minutes before closing time by a person needing help on the side of the road. My response was to drive my personal car to the scene, diagnose the problem, take the customer to the parts store, and replace the part. All for a reasonable fee which the owner was happy to give and then some. This anti-service manager was unwilling to have a technician complete a simple repair while he himself sat in his air conditioned office completing paperwork. Refusing to tell the young mother shed have to leave her vehicle, or call a tow truck, I proceeded to a parts store. I bought the necessary triple square socket, an impact gun, and air compressor, and changed the hub assembly in the parking lot. ALL IN LESS THAN TEN MINUTES, including time for the air compressor to completely fill. This Action Hater is unhelpful, uncompassionate and undeserving of its business opportunity.

A few days ago I had my grand-daughter’s car serviced at Action Gater because the turn signals weren’t working. It also needed an oil change. I’m very thankful that the service tech Tooley provided the needed service in a professional manner. While doing the oil change, it was discovered that the air filter needed to be changed, so he brought it to my attention. I felt no pressure to get a new one, but glad that it has been changed. He also provided helpful information about future service that is recommended. I am thankful for the excellent service that was provided in a timely manner and recommend Action Gater to others.

Absolutely horrible. As a contractor to U-Haul for roadside assistance, it took 3 hours and 35 minutes for them to respond to our stranded U-Haul. U-Haul contract mandates 60-90 minutes max. I know, U-Haul kept telling me this over the phone as i was explaining Action Gator still wasnt there after 2.5 hours and counting. Excuses varied from, "they cant find the cross street" (we were on Florida Turnpike MM220 and stated it twice), to "were pulling up to your truck now" (45 minutes later they finally appeared) Ive written to U-Haul to have this poor excuse for a company removed from the roadside assistance program.

Workers are completely lazy. They wont tell you how long they will have your car. THEY WILL LEAVE THEYRE TOOLS AND SCREWS IN YOUR CAR. THEY WILL LEAVE YOUR CAR HALF PUT TOGETHER AND STILL GIVE IT BACK TO YOU. It has happened twice! And they have the excuse "our boss rushed us". Obviously the boss doesnt know how to run a company and care about the customers. I would never in a million years go to them again.
