I would like to first say, that I took my vehicle to this location several times and experience the worst service ever. they finally put a new transmission per what they are saying and we were on our way home after several times taking the vehicle to them. so guest what?, several months down the line (NOW) the vehicle is doing the same thing it was doing before. Well the vehicle is again down due to the transmission 41 miles away so was told that the warranty is only good at the AAMCO it was repaired. Was with the understanding that I can take it to any AAMCO if any issue. So Contacting the AAMCO HQ once again. This vehicle has been at the Winter Haven AAMCO in Aug 2016, Sep AUG 2016, Oct 2016 having several repairs on the transmission then again taken on NOV 2016 when a new/Rebuild Transmission was put on. Can you believe that they are saying the the warranty start on AUG 2016 and not on NOV 2016 with the new/Rebuild trans. that is crazy. I understand that the warranty should be for anything they done during the months of (AUG THRU OCT), but once a new/rebuild transmission was put on dont you think the transmission warranty should start in NOV 2016. I forgot to mention I had to pay for most of the TOW and the unprofessional rep at the front on AAMCO Winter Haven keeps telling us drive it to us, really so more damage can be done to it. Also forgot that a 18 months or 18,000 miles is the warranty. the issue Im running is they claim once again the warranty start in AUG 2016 and not when the new/rebuild transmission was put on. So guest what happen I gone over the 18,000 if they use the miles back in AUG 2016 but if they use the miles on NOV 2016 Im under the 18,000 miles so this is a shady thinks AAMCO is doing. The Vehicle in know at another AAMCO but but to they did not do the work they need the other shop to take responsibility for any parts and replacement so the new AAMCO shop can start the repairs. But Know the AAMCO the vehicle is in they want it removed from the property. I been on the phone with AAMCO HQs and it seems to me that Im getting the run arounds from all AAMCO Shops and the HQs. People DO NOT take your vehicle to any AAMCO. Regards, Mark DeJesus U.S. Army Retired/Disabled

Chris at AAMCO in Winter Haven was phenomenal with me and my vehicle. I took my 1985 Chevrolet Suburban into him because i had noticed some issues with the transmission, and i want ed a second opinion on what another "shop" told me. Chris didnt treat me like i was some dumba** who didnt know anything about my vehicle. He took the time to get to know me and the time to get to know my vehicle. He could tell that do my own service on my vehicle and that i dont let other mechanics touch it (hes the second one in three years). By getting to know me, and my fear of letting someone else turn a wrench on my rig, he gained my trust with re assurance and the truth. He took the truck for a drive with me, asked me questions, then brought it back, put it up on the lift and showed me personally what he was seeing and what he felt was the issue. He then issued me a fair quote, with a realistic turn around time of by the end of the week, mind you i took it in on Tuesday afternoon! On Wednesday afternoon he gave me a call and told me that a few extra parts needed to be replaced as mentioned the day before and wanted to double check if that was okay. He then told me that the truck should be ready the following afternoon. On Thursday afternoon, i picked the truck up, a whole two days from receiving it! He even let me look at the failed parts before i signed the paper work. The two day turn around for the rebuild of my truck is one of the things that really impressed me. Chris and his guys do phenomenal work and have gained my trust for any future last minute or over my head repairs. Thanks again for the quality Job guys, lets hope the truck will make it another 30 years on this transmission. Mike.

When answering an ad for a free check engine light diagnosis this company at the instruction of not to put a wrench to the vehicle and no work to be done because we wanted only the free check and road test as advertized sent out rep to pick up our 2004 Explorer 4wheel drive. We told the Manager Denny that it did drive well but got poor gas mileage and the check engine lite stayed on. I explained I didnt have money for a big repair and not to take anything apart. I was told not to worry that they would honor our wishes. Then we get a phone call telling us they removed the transmission and if we wanted to get the Explorer back it would cost us $900 dollars unfixed. We did not sign nor did we give permission to remove the transmission. After writing Florida consumer affairs they said that an unsatisfactory result from their office existed with the owners of the company and we would have to sue civilly because the state of Florida has no authority to protect consumers and force companys to be fair and honest. Florida law does say however that any auto company must get a signature from the owner to do work on the auto. No signature was gotten or given to this company. They placed a mechanics lien on the explorer and sold it out from under us. SO BE WARE OF this company and the management. Had they not taken this kind of action in January 2012 the following month we received our yearly check from retirement plan interest and would have gotten repairs done. We dont know what they found that needed to be done only a estimate after our complaint to the way we were treated. Our complaint is a matter of public record.

Last Wednesday at 9 p.m. my transmission wouldnt shift out of second gear. I thought I was in for an expensive transmission repair and I didnt know how I would pay for the repair. The service manager David answered his phone after hours at 9:15 p.m. and arranged to have my car towed to this location. I was impressed that the whole process to get my car to Aamco only took 50 minutes. David made it very comforting for me by ensuring me that my car was not going to sit in a vacant lot all night and that there are payment options available for my repairs. The following day David called and told me that I didnt need to have my transmission rebuilt and that I needed a electrical transmission harness. I was very happy with Aamcos honesty , response time in towing my vehicle after hours and accurately diagnosing my problem saving me a lot of money. I used this location in the past and was very happy with the service I received. My car was repaired in a timely manner and David called keeping me informed with updates on the status of the repairs. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to this location for all your automotive repairs. Keep up the good work guys. Thanks David.
