DETROIT CLINIC REPAIRS YOUR CAR BETTER AND CHEAPER THAN ANYONE ELSE Like most people in Cleveland, I have been to many mechanics over and over again to fix ONE problem. By chance I discovered Detroit Auto Clinic down the street from my home - and they specialize in ONE STOP REPAIRING. Not all Mechanics/Car Repair companies are created equal - True, but then there is GILBERT C. Owner/Master Mechanic of DETROIT AUTO CLINIC. His business is unlike ANY business in town, because he cares about YOU and YOUR CAR/TRUCK. He not only repairs what you ask him to do, but like a good Auto Doctor that he is - he gets to and fixes the root of the problem - the first time. PRICING -- Detroit Auto Clinic cares about making you a customer for life, not making you broke for life.. Gil finds the best part at the best price.

Gilbert really helped us out when we were in a jam......from out of town, broken down and between not-fun visits at the Cleveland Clinic. He got our car right in. He assessed and fixed the problem very efficiently....while we waited! We had hoped to get a taxi to get some food during the 2 hour repair. But while Gilbert was fabulous, the taxi service was awful (call way ahead of time) - it seriously took two hours to get there.....and just as it pulled up Gilbert came in to say he had finished our car repair!!! He was honest and fair and seemed like such a nice person. And when I was there the young customer in the waiting area was so kind, making conversation and distracting me from my hunger and worried impatience for my next hospital appointment. Its a good place. With good people.

I had to give them a star, I wouldnt gave them no star this company is a bad mechanic place, they messed up my car. They had removed my gas tank and put the wrong wires connected in the wrong place, and the seat belts was underneath the seats, I had to go to an different mechanic company to fix it, if someone was smoking in the back everybody in the car would of died. This is a backyard mechanic company dont go to this company, if you can go to an different company do that. I had take this company to court, and they didnt give me my whole money, they only give me $100 dollars, I paid them $235 dollars, a zero dollars job sad. Also, dont let the 4.5 stars fool you, I thought this was a good company by looking at the stars and comments.

I moved to Cleveland 3 years ago with my 99 Subaru Outback. I came from Colorado where there were plenty of mechanics that know how to work on old Subarus, but I struggled to find anyone knowledgeable in Cleveland. I went to three different shops for various issues all with varying degrees of success before I found the Detroit Auto Clinic. Gilbert has worked on my car three different times, essentially fixing everything the other shops couldnt do right the first time. He is extremely knowledgeable, and always quotes a fair price well below what I was quoted at other shops. I will not go to anyone else as long as Im in Cleveland. 10/10 would recommend.

The Detroit Auto Clinic is the best auto shop I have ever been to, hands down. The owner knows me by name, remembers my and my wifes cars and all the work hes done on them off the top of his head and is always super friendly. I ran into him at the Home Depot on 117th and he recognized me and asked how my car was doing! More importantly, the quality of work is excellent, the prices are amazing, they frequently finish below their initial estimate (both money and time). He also helped me out personally by loosening an oil pan screw which was on wicked tight - for free! I cant recommend the Detroit Auto Clinic highly enough!

I received an oil change from one of those big chain tire places and they told me my rear breaks were really bad, which I had kind of noticed myself. They quoted me a price to fix it and I said I wanted to look around. I found this place because it is right down the street from my house and I am so happy! The gentleman who helped me was so nice and patient and didnt try to make me feel like a dumb girl (that has happened to me before at the big chain places). Also they fixed it for a lot less than I was quoted elsewhere! I will certainly go here again anytime I need work done on my car and would recommend it to anyone!

I have been out of town for the week, and while I was out of town, my wife had some trouble with her windshield wiper linkage kit and had to get her wipers repaired. You can purchase a wiper linkage kit for less than 60 dollars basically anywhere. But because my wife does not know much about cars, she was completely taken advantage of. They charged her180 for the lets and 50 for the labor, which is WAY above retail and fair market value on both accounts. Moral of the story, dont trust these guys, they will absolutely take advantage of you if they have the opportunity. Zero business ethics.

Gilbert has been my mechanic for years. Ive had purchased used cars over the years, and thanks to Detroit Auto clinic, when it came time to either trade, or sell my vehicles, I was able to do so without a problem. His (Gilbert) knowledge of automobiles is uncanny, also the best by far. Whatever problem I had with my car(s), hes was able to repair. He could give u a quote, and be within the ball park. Hes honest and fair, again, uncanny, especially for a mechanic. A great person in general, as well as, an excellent mechanic. I would highly recommend Detroit Auto clinic.

Wow!-- These guys know what they are doing. I wont take my vehicles anywhere else but Detroit Auto Clinic. My 2006 Audi wont start, and Im stuck in Cleveland Ohio, I call around and finally talk to Gilbert. I get my Audi towed to their shop and they fix it in a flash! -- Apparently I needed something done to the computer and these guys had the tools to get the job done. If you drive an Audi, or any foreign car from the looks of this repair shop, you can trust these guys to fix right. I wont go any place else.

Ive been a Detroit Auto clinic customer for over 3yrs now and every time i bring my Acura into the shop the staff members greet me with welcoming smiles - then they ask how can we turn that frown upside down. The service here is a cut above the rest of the automotive clinics in the area. I recommend going to here for all of your automotive needs you won't be disappointed at all - most important THE PRICING IS GREAT!

Excellent, fast service. Dealer quoted me either 125 or 250 to change a headlight bulb. He, the toyota dealer, somehow couldnt determine the correct bulb. A friend recommended Gilbert at the Detroit Auto Clinic. I showed up, Gilbert went and confirmed part price and gave an installed quote of 75.00 - awesome. I will go back for future service. Decent guys over there. Solid.

Brought my impala here to get checked out since I bought it as is and didnt want surprises down the line. Gilbert was very informative and explained things to me about my car in PLAIN ENGLISH! And since I didnt have a lot of money he gave me a good idea of what things needed to get taken care of now, and what things I could put off til later. Ive been back twice
