WARNING!!! I cant believe what just happened to us today! My son and I took the coupon that came in the mail for a free oil change from Fuerst Automotive. We sat there for a long time, although we didnt complain since we were getting a free oil change. However, when they finally finished, they came back and said that it was unsafe to be driving my car around as the left lower ball joint and control arm needed to be replaced immediately or my tire would come off. The quote? Ohhh, $307. 71. Naturally, I started asking questions because they werent showing me the ball joint, nor were they explaining this ball joint problem to me. I think a $300 quote needs some explanation, dont you? Anyway, I tried to ask more details but they brushed me off with vague answers so we left the place. My young 8 year old son said to me on the way home that they seemed mad about giving us the free oil change. I noticed that, too, but didnt say anything because of the bad vibe we got from the minute we walked in. If they dont want to give free oil changes, then dont send out coupons for free oil changes! So now I am in a panic mode, wondering if I am driving around with my son in a potentially unsafe situation. I called the alignment place I got my car aligned just last week and told them what these people at Fuerst were telling me. They said they wouldnt even give me an alignment if the ball joint and control arm needed to be replaced! So, they had me come in to check it for FREE-- so we drove all the way over the tire place and they checked the left lower ball joint and control arm. Guess what? NOTHING WRONG AT ALL. Does NOT need to be replaced. Fuerst Automotive just tried to rip off a single mom and her kid over $300, how disgusting is that??? Well, they tried to rip off the wrong people, because now I hope we cost them over $300 in business saving someone from going there getting ripped off by these LYING THIEVES. Do NOT take your vehicle there, they are lying, corrupt thieves and really should be put out of business for this in my opinion.

Rick and company at Feurst Automotive are fantastic. While waiting in the lobby, it is so clear that almost all of their customers are repeat customers who they know by name and they greet everyone with a smile, which says A LOT about his business practices. Ive seen them be extremely informative and helpful to some of his more senior clientele and even in my case when he was leveling some expensive news to me, I had confidence that he is not out to "make a buck" and is shooting straight with me on what the right repair is for my car. My wife and I have taken numerous cars there numerous times and we always have Rick and his staff check them over before going on a long driving vacation. Completely satisfied with their service. Today I had my car in to get evaluated and it turned out the repair time would be a lengthy. So one of their staff took me home so I could get some work done. When my car is done, they are going to come and get me as well! I think you can tell a lot about how a business is run by the condition of their shop. Look around...Feurst is clean, pleasant and open. They keep their storefront up from the top to bottom. You could stop at a lot of service stations here and there before you get to Feurst Automotive...buy why would you?

After taking my car to Fuerst for repairs and maintenance in the past they were my first choice when I was having trouble with my brakes. I took my vehicle up for an estimate on my rear brakes. Upon receiving the estimate I asked to set up an appointment to bring my car back to get the work done, much to my surprise Rick said they could "work on it today and have it done by the end of the day or tomorrow morning." This was surprising to me because I had come in around noon and had no expectation that my car could be fixed so quickly. I was offered a free loaner vehicle to use while my car was being worked on and took them up on the offer, I had errands to run so having a loaner vehicle to get them done was super convenient. My vehicle was finished the same day I took it in! Dropping off the loaner, picking up my freshly washed and fixed car was easy and I was on my way. Thank you Fuerst for another great experience!

My husband and I have been getting our oil changed and needed repairs done here for years. They are very honest and fair priced and have NEVER suggested a repair that wasnt needed. I have asked them to check things out in the past as a precautionary and each time they said the car was fine when they could easily have made something up since I inquired about it. Also we once ran over a dead deer with our car on the highway and I was a bit paranoid that something could be wrong with the underbody and they looked it over FREE OF CHARGE and found nothing wrong - again if they were dishonest as this other review said, they knew I would have paid without thinking twice about it. I would highly recommend them for all of your auto maintenance/repair needs.

Fuerst always does a great job. Rick, Sara and the rest of the crew are as professional, fair, and pleasant as it gets. They answer the phone and return calls promptly. They can nearly always accommodate a last minute need and they get cars fixed promptly if you are waiting on them. I am critical and I have not found a flaw in all of my 7 years of using them. Their prices are always better than others and what they estimate is usually spot on. They have even done small fixes on my car free of charge on several occasions, when others would charge $20-50. With my experience it is hard not to urge others to go there. I would recommend anyone use their services.

What a class operation...from my initial phone call (very friendly yet professional- thank you Sarah) to being greeted at the door by Rick the morning of my appointment, then walking into a welcoming customer area which didnt reek of gas or oil, but rather freshly brewed coffee. Follow up phone calls soon arrived advising me of progress and that my maintenance was complete. Kudos to all staff, mgmnt and owner(s) Did I mention the use of a loaner car as well??? If you are looking for a service shop that you can trust, check out Fuerst Auto. My father-in-law recommended Fuerst when we were new to the area. I was looking for an independent shop that charged fair prices that I could trust. That was almost 10 years ago. Weve had various cars over the years. Weve exclusively taken each of those cars to Fuerst for regular routine maintenance and whenever something needed an unexpected repair. The gang at Fuerst are great. You wont be disappointed!
