I would not recommend this location at all try another. I Called the U-Haul customer service line which was amazingly helpful all around trying to find the correct part to wire the car up for a trailer, the lady on the phone was amazingly helpful and reserved the part for me via their online reservation system, I go the store the next morning and they didnt seem to have a clue whats going on and as Im standing there with the printouts explaining what exactly I needed but the service staff didnt seem to understand. They come back and are apparently backed up at 7am and wont be able to get to it. So I ask if I can just buy the part and take it somewhere else and that them becomes an issue and we have to go find the mechanic and the the manager and find out of thats okay to do. I leave call the U-Haul center in Ocoeee just down the road the staff is a night and day difference in knowledge and friendliness and more than willing to get me on my way. Even talking with them they said that that clearnont location is poorly managed and operated. Ive done a lot of dealings with U-Haul and always have a pleasant time, however I would never recomend this locatio. Awful customer service and staff

I rented a truck and tow dolly for two days. I used the tow dolly and tried to return it the same day I picked it up as I needed the truck for two days. I was willing to pay for the dolly for two days, I just did not want to drag it around for two days as I had no where to leave it. The employees that day could not figure out how to let me drop off just the dolly. After about twenty minutes and ignoring me I gave up as I had a lot to do that day with moving. So... I dragged the dolly around...disconnecting and reconnecting the dolly to pull the ramp out to load and unload. Very bad experience. After calling U HAUL customer service the manager called me back and said I would only be charged for the one day for the dolly...... now I see my receipt and I was charged for two days.

Such a terrible experience with them in regards to a storage unit. Terrible customer service. I rented a truck and was given a free month of storage. When they charged me my first month of storage, they said they would not charge my second month. Of course the second month rolls around and they charge me. As this was the last month I needed the unit, I called for a refund. They said they would happily take care of it & refund the charge. Except they ended up charging me again & refunding that charge. Therefore I was still charged the second month. I called at least 3 times & was promised a call back by a manager I never received. I ended up dealing with that customer service hotline since the manager wouldnt resolve the issue. Still no resolution! This place sucks.

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Its impossible to speak with someone at the actual location. You pay a month in advance and when I explained that wed be moving out a week into the month of May, they said it didnt matter, I would still have to pay the full month. Fine, whatever. Paid for the full month of May as per policy. Went in to turn our keys in on the Very last day (because if youre charging me for a full month Im damn well going to use the full month!!!!) and they said we owed for the next month (June) because we had to come on the 3rd (LITERALLY ONE DAY PRIOR) to do move out paperwork. Which by the way was never told to us. Our stuff has been out 3 weeks. Im not paying a dime....basically a bunch of morons who just want to take your money.

We do not recommend this location to others if you are able to go elsewhere. In addition to slow service (understandable at check in / check out time), the staff had technical difficulties with the computer system. Also, when we arrived, we were informed that our rental item had been stolen off the lot. We rate "2" stars because they upgraded us to the next higher item, but we would not use this location again if we could help it.

Was told one thing at the time of rental but then they changed most of it at the time of rental ..went over invoice upon return and I agreed with chrages at that time but then they charged my credit card for additional dollars. Looks like this is a standard scam deal with them. I called and called and cant get anyone to help me..I will contact their Corporate HQ
