I went to have my hair "fixed" after a terrible color job at another salon. After speaking with Rey, I was told it could be fixed for $125. During the visit he added several "special treatments" that I assumed were part of his remedy because he was upfront at the beginning. Upon completion of the treatment I was informed the total was $320. The staff was pleasant enough during my visit but I was taken aback by the major miscommunication of not telling me everything upfront in an open and honest manner. If you go to the salon, be weary of what they tell you upfront. I will not be going back as a precaution.

For many years, I went from one hair stylist to another but was never satisfied. My hair was either too short, too long, or without any style. Thus, I decided to make an appointment with Rei at Avalon. To my surprise, he took the time to ask what I wanted done to my short hair. Rei not only gave the “perfect haircut” but I found myself in a professional place that was relaxing and well organized. Now, I can finally say that “I found the one.” Great job, Rei. Thanks, Cira

I visited this salon and got an olaplex hydration. It was right what I needed! I wash my hair every day, and Miami summer has been getting the best out of my hair! The staff was very professional, and friendly. I will be going back soon.

This is my go to salon, its five minutes from everything great in the Gables and they really know how to accomodate to all of your needs as a client. A real gem in this city.
