I was excited to pay a visit with my daughter ever since she came with a group of friends. I must have passed this place a million times and it never registered with me that it was here. As soon as we arrived on a Saturday night we could see the line was all the way through the building and out the door. I didnt want to fight the crowd so we opted for take out on the side of the building. You can either phone in or place your order at the window. It was so hot out but they nicely provided some ice water for me when I asked. My daughter picked the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese. I ordered a half chicken with collard greens and sweet potatoes for the hubby. I had burnt ends at the Epcot Garden Festival recently and loved them and so was excited to see them on the menu here. I picked that for my meal with fries, coleslaw, and the macaroni and cheese. It also came with a biscuit. About twenty minutes our food was ready and we were presented with the choice of hot or mild barbecue sauce. I got a few of both. It was right around forty dollars for the three meals. We got home and cracked open our boxes. My daughter loved her meal. Hubby said his was good. I was the only one not thrilled. My burnt ends were nothing like the ones I had at Epcot. I wonder if I even got them. I might have just been given regular brisket, that is what it seemed like. The sides were really poor quality. I have seen the pictures of other peoples macaroni and cheese on here and mine looked nothing like that. It was of waxy Kraft quality. I couldnt eat it. My fries were like the frozen kind you get out of the bag at Publix. My coleslaw was yummy but it was the exact same one you get at KFC. I thought this was going to be an upscale barbecue place and I have had better sides at a fast food restaurant. I was really disappointed. The building itself was attractive and I did get fast service at the take out window but I wont be back any time soon. It is not worth fighting crowds for food that is on the high side of price but the low side of quality.

I just visited the Coral Springs location where on this particular day the food was HORRIBLE (aside from the Bayou bar that was delicious). I had to write in because i just first ate here two days before. On that day, two of my fellow co-workers and I went here for the first time. The ribs were DELICIOUS (tender, juicy, EVERYTHING about them were delicious). I have bragged about this spot and to soooooo many people since leaving and before writing this review. Upon leaving, I had 3 left over pieces of my rib that I had even taken home to my husband. He took them to work the following morning and they were still good (I know because I got a random text from him saying how delicious they were and how they were better than any of the BBQ spots we had tried). On the day of the visit I think his name was Jerry (a front house manager or similar) came and greeted us. We told him how he was an asset to the company because of his personality. I have bragged every since to my co-workers & friends but TODAY was disappointing. After getting off from work, I go by the location (almost the EXACT time as two days before when we all got off and decided to drop in) and boy was I disappointed. I order my food to go and got home. The ribs didnt even look the same, they were dry, hard, and EVERYTHING opposite of what I was looking forward to. For the cost, it was not worth it... now lets be clear, I will pay for good food and excellent service but after today... Im disappointed and will be sure to let others know my second experience was HORRIBLE. If I had never had the second experience, I would have given 5 stars but because the first experience surpasses how I felt about second time, I gave 3 stars!

Lets begin with the food. The moist brisket gives me life. I daydream about the next time I can devour a half pound (plus that extra meat for 2.99) of that soft, succulent, delectable brisket. The sides. Oh the Krispy Kreme bread pudding - savory, sweet and just perfect. Although I havent tried everything on the menu (yet), I can safely assume the same amount of love and care go into each food choice as the ones I have tried. This foodie gives it an A++ on presentation, flavors, textures, temperature, etc. But what blew me away even more was the customer service. I honestly dont think Ive ever experienced such great customer service at any other restaurant ever than I have experienced tonight. Although it was crazy busy, the entire staff I came into contact with was extremely attentive. Allen, the director of all locations (I apologize if this is the wrong title) went above and beyond. He chatted with many, if not all the customers, making the dining experience very personal. He made bodybuilding jokes with my boyfriend and I about eating our protein and hitting our macros then got us a sample of the Krispy Kreme bread pudding - good job Allen, you sold us :P yes, we got in line again to actually order full servings of the pudding and another staff member, Alex, noticed we were in line a second time and asked us if there was anything he could get us so we didnt have to stand in line again. Thank you for your keen attention to detail Alex. Overall experience was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

My friends live nearby and they wanted to try this place when it opened. We went one Saturday and the line was very long, so we skipped it that day. Went today (10/5) and there was no line. So there was a total of 4 of us and not one of us thought it was worth the reviews. Usually there is only one of us in our group who would not be impressed but all 4 of us were in agreement that the food was subpar. We each had the sliders with different meats. One complained that she had a big piece of fat in her slider and was totally turned off. The meats were dry and nothing to rave about. The sides also were nothing to rave about. Two of us had the bread pudding. Dry and basically a cinnebon. Mac and cheese, just ok. Collards were good (per me) but I havent had them in a long time so maybe I was just happy something I ate had some taste. My friend said that the Publix deli had tastier collard greens. I hope they are paying the employees a decent wage. I dont particularly care for a tip jar at a cash register when there is no table service. Its like going to a 7-Eleven that has a tip jar. Will not go back.

Hands down the slowest barbecue joint in the country! Great food, incredibly slow service. This might be the most disorganized and poorly run counter service restaurant Ive ever experienced. We ate there, my wife, 3 yo son and I, once and were fortunate enough to walk in between rushes I guess bc each time weve been there since the line has been to the door moving nowhere fast. People were waiting so long to order food, three times we left and went elsewhere. Ive also tried ordering from their pickup window twice and on both occasions I waited 30 minutes without a single person coming to the window and the other people who were waiting and had ordered online said they had been waiting over 30 mins at the window after waiting more than 30 mins to come pickup their food. This place needs to hire some managers that know how to run a kitchen and train employees to be fast and efficient. Its a real shame nowadays when a restaurant chain has great food and horrible service. Makes you wonder if their other locations are managed any better.
