My son is in kindergarten and he attended this day care for 2 weeks during winter break. He also attended for one half day where he was picked up by the bus, and for one camp day during a teacher planning day. I toured many day cares in the Coral Springs area last summer searching for a summmee camp program. (We did not choose andy bear for summer). I went back to andy bear for winter break because it is a very beautiful, clean, high tech school. In the short time my son attended, he came home MOST days telling me how the "big kids" were mean and nasty to him. He said they constantly bullied him. I expressed my concerns more than once to the director. Come to find out the big kids my son was speaking of are older kids that were actually supposed to be assisting in watching the campers! This is just unacceptable and certainly did not seem to subside even after I told the director. The school could never seem to get the signing in and out process correct. I had my mother picking up my son in most days as I work full time and even with all their high tech security features, they could never seem to get it right. My mom always saw a different employee whenever she picked up my son. They never seemed to really know the children, and on one occasion the "teacher" actually tried to send the wrong child home with my mother! Saying "Jonah, your moms here.." to a completely different child. How dangerous and unsettling is that?? The icing on the cake is the phone call I received from the director a few weeks after the last day my son attended which was a teacher planning day in December. She stated that my statement was past due and asked how I would be paying it. I told her that yes, I should owe for the half day and the camp day totalling 15 dollars and I can pay now. She proceeded to tell me I owed upwards of 300 dollars for 2 months of aftercare! I told her my son never attended aftercare and she told me that he was signed in every day. To which I replied "how do you not realize that you have not been picking my son up On a bus everyday??" She said she was gonna call me back and I have yet to hear from her. I have 2 personal friends who have worked at this school and have had horrendous experiences. Both of them warned me to steer clear. The turnover is ASTRONOMICALLY high. I would def recommend to stay far away from andy bear.

My daughter has been going to Andy Bear for a year now, and Ive been very happy. The teachers are all attentive and take great care of the children. I can tell by how much my daughter loves her favorite teacher Miss Ariel! The facilities are very clean and safe. Theres a very nice (and safe looking) playground, and a big grass field that there are soccer classes. They offer ballet. They have ipads on site for the kids to use. And best of all, they have cameras set up so you can login and see what your child is up to anytime you want. The like how it feels less like a daycare and more like a school. I dont feel like Andy Bear is just watching my daughter. I feel like they are actively working on teaching and development. Some of the teachers were let go, but I consider that a good thing. The ones that are attentive and caring stay, and the less attentive ones get let go. The staff and the owner (Miss Marcia) have been very accommodating whenever Ive had a concern. My daughter bangs her head when trying to sleep, and the staff let me have a special bed, and (I know this because I peek in on the camera) they have a teacher soothing my girl and rubbing her back to help her fall asleep!! If theres a negative, maybe its pricey compared to other places in the area. But you get what you pay for: the top notch facilities, the attentive and caring teachers and staff, and the cameras make it worth EVERY PENNY!!!

I went I took a tour of Andy Bear Early Learning Center. During my tour I asked the question of my son being ADHD and Bi Polar and if that would be a problem. The response I received was of course not as the facility has a registered RN on staff. I was impressed with the facility as it was State of the art and very well maintained. After spending about two hours that evening filling out there extensive enrollment package the next day I get a call that the Facility telling me that they will not be taking in any children with ADHD/Bi Polar. First let me say that it is against the law to discriminate against people with disabilities or special needs. If you are considering this facility please keep in mind that they are not equipped to work with children with any special needs. I really thought it to be a big waste of my time to tour and file out paperwork when they could not handle my child with special needs and it being one of the first questions I asked prior to taking the tour and filling out the paperwork. If you are considering this school for your child or children please be aware that this facility believes it to be above the law and feels that it has the right to refuse services due to special needs. Please keep in mind that my childs special needs are not severe where as it would interfere with any daily activities or with other children.

Since I moved here 3 years ago, I havent found a nice, clean, and spacious pre school for my daughter. I have her enrolled from two diffrent places, and my daughter would never stop feeling sick, coughing, and sometimes throwing up. I am meticulous when it comes to cleanliness. And Andy bear got my attention when I walked in to inquire the first day. I really like the idea of putting code before you can get in. I think thats the best idea ever! Not only you have to think that anybody could just get in by opening the door, stranger cannot get in. Plus finger print before you can open the door to pick your child up, its way way better than signing to a log book each time you are in and out. Andy bear has the advance technology that ease the worried for every parents. The webcam is plus +A. I get to see my Daugther while Im at school, or at work. I have never found a pre school as good as Andy Bear around Coral Springs. I love the space, and the location feels home to me. And has more privacy compare to other school. Thanks for Andy Bear and to all the friendly staff. Happy New Year!!

I have mixed feelings about Andy Bear. Our child joined the school not too long after opening. The experience was great, good teachers and positive environment. We noticed that there was a good amount of turnover with the teachers, we liked, leaving. The new crop of teachers seemed younger, less experienced and impatient. We had a host of issues that we shared with the teachers as well as the Director Marcia. Ultimately, we decided to move our child to a new school, which she, and we, enjoy. I know its hard to find a school that you can feel confident about, Andy Bear wasnt for us, but we know plenty of parents who love it there. I just wanted to share our experience, because it seems every school we search for has glaring positive reviews or suspicious negative reviews.
