Riverbend is AMAZING!! My son has been at Riverbend for the past 2 years and my daughter will be enrolling the 1st of the year. I found Riverbend in my extensive search for a local daycare for my son. I took many tours of daycare centers in Port St. Lucie and there was no question where I wanted him to go at the end of my search. I was highly impressed and immediately put my son on the waiting list. The staff is truly amazing and I love how much they care and take pride in their job. The classrooms are very structured and clean. They have two separate playgrounds. One for the little ones that is very clean and full of stuff for them to play with and enjoy. Then there is the larger playground for the bigger kids and it is awesome! My son has learned SO much since he has been there! I love that they are a "learning" daycare as opposed to some of them out there that just plop them down with toys and, well, thats about it. The teachers here truly care and go above and beyond. Communication here is excellent as well. I have always been able to talk to someone whenever I need regarding my son without any hesitation, whether it be the teachers or Ms. Kelly or Ms. Jackie in the office. The teachers in each classroom send home a memo letting the parents know what they will be learning in class that week/month, which I love. Ms. Kelly and Ms. Jackie are always sending emails to the parents letting them know what is going on at the school, whether it be holiday stuff, illness that may be going around, or what new things will be happening. They recently added a Spanish Teacher that comes once a week to the class to teach the children Spanish! LOVE!! Needless to say, I would highly recommend them (and have already) to anyone who truly wants the best for their child. I never worry about my child in their care because I know he is in good hands. My son enjoys going to "school" and tells me everyday that he had a great time and what he did that day. I am so happy to have found Riverbend and couldnt imagine sending my children anywhere else!!

My oldest son was in Riverbends 3 hour VPK program. I cant wait to send my younger son to Riverbend in 2 years. The playground is mostly unique wood play structure rather than the plastic stuff for the bigger children. There were field trips, in class festivities (Grandparents day, Mothers Day, Thanksgiving, Holiday play and snow day, St. Patricks day, Stone Soup for snack) and after school events (beginning of the year open house, art night). There are options for child care with after-school programs and parents night out. The owner was informative on illnesses and discouraged all parents from allowing children to attend on a day they have symptoms of illness. Classrooms had plenty of supplies and were kept clean and organized, as well as childrens artwork displayed throughout the year. There was coordination with local business for after school activities such as Playball, Fun Bus, and Dance. The VPK programs had a music component where a guy came to play instruments (mainly the guitar) and sing with children. Discipline was not focused on right versus wrong but helping children solve problems. I couldnt be happier with my sons VPK experience at Riverbend Learning Center.

AWESOME! I have my 4 year old here and I cannot believe some of the things she has learned since she has been here! The school is very clean, the first thing the kids do when they walk in is wash their hands. The owner sends an email of any known illnesses or viruses going around. The classroom is always very clean and they bleach all toys regularly which is awesome. The staff is very nice and they get to know your child very well, love the security gate and cameras. Would reccomend this school to anyone. Not sure what the Ashley person is talking about but there is definately not boogers everywhere and knock on wood my daughter hasnt came home yet with a cold or illness this entire year. Im sad we have to leave to go to Kindergarten this year because this has been my favorite Pre-School and we have gone to 5 since my daughter was born

If there were an option to not give them a rating, I would. I set up a time for a tour because I was looking for childcare for my 20 month old son. I was NOT impressed, to say the least. Not clean by any means, boogers were all over the children and the tables, it was disgusting. Its overpriced for the kind of care you get, which is very poor. I wouldnt send my son there if someone paid me to. Try: Little Steps to Bright Futures or Chesterbrook Academy.

I absolutely love this place and the staff. My daughter is always excited to go and there is good communication between her teachers and us. Her class has about 10 kids and they have three teachers. Most places we visited when looking for daycare had 2 teachers at most (6:1 ratio). The management staff (specially Miss Erika) is very friendly and they know every kid by name.

The director is very rude. Walks around with a stick up her butt. The staff is extremely catty. Too much estrogen. Im sorry but their is a world of great preschools out there but this is not one.
