I rarely go out of my way to leave a review - good or bad - but this experience really needs to be shared. First time today. The environment is clean and friendly. My stylist seemed nice. Fast forward one hour to the end of my haircut. She hands me the mirror to check the back of my hair and my jaw dropped. It was an awfully choppy shelf-layered haircut. I didnt know what to say, I was honestly shocked that she had spent an hour doing this to my hair. The stylist then revealed that she never usually cuts my particular type of hair (straight and fine)... Why didnt she mention that before attempting to cut it??? She went and grabbed another stylist to come help. The second stylist sat me down and spent 5 minutes fixing my layers the best she could. To be fair, the first stylist was apologetic about the situation. I still paid (luckily it was a discounted first-time special) and tipped them both (felt sorry for the first girl and thankful for the second). I will not be returning. Instead, I now know that when I find a new salon, I have to ask if the stylist has experience with my hair type. It sounds insulting to ask but I wont make that mistake again. Ugh!

Jasen Williams was a groupon find like no other. Most places I’ve tried on groupon are just one offs because the deal. They’re usually not repeatable. I am so happy that I found this salon. I’ve been going for a bout a year now and in that short amount of time I’ve seen them grow their staff and their services. When I first started going, it was so refreshing to be welcomed by the owner of the salon (especially an AVEDA salon… those are usually extra snobby for some reason) standing behind the front desk being as nice as can be. He’s very hands on and extremely nice. The salon it’s self is pretty welcoming. They also offer AVEDA facials. OMG, I had one when they had this great promo going on. I t think it was like $40 for a 60 min session. That was really nice. The staff is nice and friendly. The prices are better than most places, the attention is a welcomed change from the snobby salons and they’re not pushy with the products. I hate that. Here, they casually mention the products more in passing. If they’re having a sale they’ll mention it but I’ve never felt pressured. Again, this was a rare find from Groupon land and I couldn’t be happier.

I went in to Jasen William Salon Aveda today after purchasing a groupon for a wash and blow and ended up leaving with a partial highlight, lowlights, cut and style. I was greeted by Jasen the owner with a smile and was nice to know he was there overseeing the business to ensure customer satisfaction! Jasen introduced me to my stylist Dennis who talked me thru what my options were to give me that new fresh look and style i was looking for!!!! Not only did Dennis do everything he could to understand exactly what type of style i wanted...... but he executed it perfectly!! I absolutely love my hair and left with that AHHHHH feeling!!!!! My hair was light, full of body & I looked and felt great! Dennis is one of the 1st stylist that i have found in years to replicate a style that i had many years ago. I showed him a few pics and he nailed it!!! My husband loved my new color, cut and style too.....so I will definitely be back to see Dennis as well as recommend Jasen William Salon to all my friends & family! Thanks again for the great service today!!

Every time I walk in Im greeted with smiles. They know my name and who Im there to see. My stylist listens to what I want to do and really thinks about, explains, and gets excited about how to help me love my hair. I feel like they really care and want me to walk out loving my hair. First couple visits I needed to trim but also get rid of my layers, but I didnt want to cut me hair too short, so we did a smaller trim on the shorter layers and a longer trim on the longer layers. Three visits evened me out without losing length! Then, I wanted to go bold without upkeep. My stylist, Diandra, and the owner, Jasen, planned together and helped figure out my best style. Got red balayage/ombre and it looks great!

Worst haircut and blowout of my life - no exaggeration. I was told the girl who would be cutting my hair was excellent when I asked about experience level. While in the chair she told me herself she just graduated from the Aveda institute one month prior (one month!!) She continued to struggle with cutting my hair, she was actually cutting against the pattern of my last cut (which I loved). Finally she got so perplexed she stopped and asked for help. Jasen, the salon owner, had to finish the cut but it was still lopsided as the girl had cut one side too short. Jasen was condescending in his tone to me and insisted the bad haircut was due to miscommunication. Really?!? My advice is to void this place.

I just left Jasen William Salon - Aveda for the first time. I loved how patient the hairdresser, Diandra, was! I am a very picky person and she cut my bangs until I was happy with the length. I made my next appointment immediately after! This salon is so clean and smells amazing! The prices are so reasonable and the environment is very welcoming and relaxing. I was given a head massage and warm towel for my neck during the shampoo wash, felt like I was at a spa!!! Seriously give this salon a try, I left my long time hairdresser to come here regularly because its just such a soothing environment and the hairdressers will give you exactly what you want!

On the advice of a friend, I made an appointment at Jasen William Salon and am not sorry that I did. Since it was my first time there I did not have a stylist in mind so I was booked with Elizabeth, who seemed to understand the concerns that I had with color staying in my hair. We came up with a color combination, which I love. Elizabeth also told me that if I use the Aveda shampoo and conditioner, etc., my color was guaranteed. Will certainly return when I get back to Florida! P.S. Montana at the front desk is delightful.

Theres a great vibe since the minute you walk in. Ive never had to wait longer than a couple of minutes from my appointment time. You are offered a beverage when you walk in and the first time consultation really helps you and the stylist know what are your expectations and concerns. Jasen is always very helpful in giving educated opinion whenever is needed. If anything is below your expectation your stylist and Jasen go all the way to accomplish your expectation. They also have great prices...got to try this place.

(My name is Michelle Jackson, for some reason my Google+ opens through my business account.) I have been going to Jasen William Salon Aveda for about a year and a half now and I just LOVE IT. My previous "home" salon closed down as the owners moved and I was floating around for about a year and HATED it. This is DEFINITELY my new "home" salon! I love Jasen and Elizabeth is just truly a hair genious! I cannot recommend her highly enough!
