Never in my life have I had a worse experience! I bought a Groupon for a haircut and Moroccan Oil treatment. When Beth asked what cut I wanted, I showed her, she said great and did it. Talked me through the whole process, she was friendly and all was great so far. Once she was done, she asked me if I wanted my hair blowed dried so that I could really see the new cut. I said "sure!" And so she did. The front looked amazing! Exactly what I asked for. I went as far as booking a hair appointment for my daughter and for manis and pedis for the both of us. Being there the first time I was this impressed!!! Once I get home I was insulted, offended, frustrated and extremely disappointed at the results. Not only was I charged for the blowout (she should have told me it was extra) but she did NOT blow dry the back of my hair! It was frizzy and sticking straight down. No beautiful waves like the front. No wonder she didnt give me a mirror to view the back of my head when I was there! I didnt give it much thought as to why I wasnt offered a mirror at the time, but now know why. To make things worse. My hair was UNEVEN!!!! Much to my horror the left side was longer than the right. Beth purposely deceived me in the haircut and blowout. This is completely unprofessional and unethical! DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! Save your money and dignity.

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is horrendous!!! The people are rude, well the owners sister, Elizabeth aka "Beth". First you can barely understand her and when you start to make out her words she is RUDE. I bought a Groupon and made an appointment. upon my arrival they were very nice but when they realized I had a groupon they were not as nice left me waiting for an hour to then wash my hair. Once my hair was washed Beth says to be "what is this" as she touches my hair. (my hair tends to get very tangled) the "what is this" started getting louder and louder as she would pull my hair. She then said she would work on my hair if I agreed to cut most of it??? I was in shock for various reasons. In the midst of my shock I didnt even say a word, the last straw was when she pulled out a waiver and said "sign this now or I do not work on your hair" I snapped out of it and told her she was unprofessional and quite rude for treating her customers this way. My hair does get tangled but nonetheless I have always received compliments on how nice my hair is. Regardless, even if I had nappy hair this was no way to treat customers, she started yelling at me and throwing things like scissors in front of customers. I was again appalled... walked away with wet hair and my Sat. ruined... Needless to say I was refunded by Groupon.

This Place is HORRIBLE!!!! I went to do the Keratin Treatment (progresiva) and a week after my hair was freeze, I called CELIA and she told , she gives only one month of guarantee on Keratin; I made an appointment, and I told her I was coming the day of my appointment; she texted me and said not to come, that she will let me know later...I texted her and called her that day all day, she never called me back or text me... My hair is Freeze and Dry, it is a shame that people is not honest anymore... they took my money and never have the decency of calling me back thats not the way to treat your clients!!! Unfortunately my hair stylist dont do Keratin anymore, and After going to my Hair stylist for years and did my Keratin Treatment every 6 months with her (this is how much it lasted on my hair), I WENT TO UNIVERSAL HAIR SALON THINKING THEY WERE AS PROFESSIONALS AS MY HAIR STYLIST ... BUT NOOOO THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND MY HAIR LOOKS DRY AND FREEZE DO NOT DO YOUR KERATIN AT UNIVERSAL HAIR SALON THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND DISHONEST""""" I wish they were Honest People in this World

I went to this salon because my mother bought me a groupon to get a Keratin treatment done and I will never go back. My hair came out great but my experience was horrible. As soon as I sat down I was being pressured to get my hair trimmed. I kindly said no and that I would be doing that at a later date. 20 minutes later I was told again that I should really get my hair trimmed. Again I declined. Towards the end of my treatment the stylist told me she was going to just trim a little of my hair to get the dead ends out. I say there without saying a word. Needless to say I was charged $25 for a trim that I repeatedly said I did not want. I was also going to get a mani pedi but after sitting through a torturous pedicure that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time because I was worried I was going to get cut (which I did), I said that I was okay with just a pedicure. Like I said my hair came out great but the over all experience wasnt what I would call pleasant.

I bought a groupon to get the keratin treatment done there. I am mildly satisfied with my results since it did not leave my hair as straight as advertised. The treatment does leave the hair smoother and shiny, but not completely straight. They promised that blow drying my hair would be easier now, but its not really true. Also, I would say that the customer service area needs LOTS of improvement. The secretary is an extremely rude girl with a terrible attitude. I felt stressed from being there!!!! I was running a few minutes late and the girl threatened to cancel my appointment and everything! The owner however is very nice and professional. When I complained about the secretary she gave me a free Moroccan oil treatment.

Great customer service Clean and hygienic place Friendly staff Reasonable prices Beth and Liz were really friendly and attentive!! I did the Keratin Treatment for my Hair and it was really good, my hair did not burn or fall, and bo dandruff!! They have been for over than 23 years in this business and this is not and advertisement! They accept cash and cards, and appointments and walk ins!!! They provide a lot of great services for men and women such as -hair styling - hair coloring- different hair treatments and repairs- permanent waves and anti-curl - Nails - waxing - spa and massages packages - facials - anti aging treatments - and laser hair removal!!!!

FIRST CLASS Salon!! THE BEST!! My friends and I have been coming here for many years now, and have never been disappointed. We always leave feeling great! The staff is kind, courteous, knowledgeable and they truly care about their clients. I have always been greeted with a smile and never had to wait more than a few minutes. I have had many services and have always left extremely happy. I did laser hair removal and is worth every penny and totally pain free, which is more than I can say for other spas in the area and Maribel is amazing, simply perfect!.
