On Saturday 6/14/14 I went to Mejon with a 60 Minute Deep Pore Facial Groupon. My appointment was set for 4 so I arrived promptly at 3:45 pm. I received a hello from the receptionist, but that was as far as the comfort went. They did not offer me anything to drink nor were the employees welcoming. Considering it was my first time there I was considering buying products and would have liked suggestions for stuff. No one even asked how I was or if I wanted a glass of water. They did ask one person that was sitting in the salon chair already, but did not even think to ask The Other Customer. After waiting 15 mins for my appointment, Dalia (the woman doing my facial) takes me into the room...I begin my facial...throughout my facial she left the room 3 times! I understand you may need to get something, but to leave to room several times and to have the customer hear the bagger that is going on in the other rooms was not relaxing. Then Dalia ANSWERED THE PHONE TO HER HUSBAND WHILEEEEEE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FACIAL!!!!!! HOW INAPPROPRIATE!!!! I CAME IN FOR A FACIAL NOT TO LISTEN TO YOU SPEAK IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE TO YOUR HUSBAND ABOUT SOMETHING THAT COULDNT HAVE WAITED UNTIL THE END OF YOUR SHIFT....OR AT LEAST TO THE END OF MY FACIAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....TO HAVE SOMEONE YELLING OVER YOUR FACE WHILE YOU ARE TRYING TO RELAX, DOESNT WORK!!!!!..I was so upset and irritated, couldnt wait to be done and out of there! So I am finally done with the NOT RELAXING FACIAL and look at the clock, she was done and ready for her tip 15 MINUTES EARLY!!! I paid for an hour facial....not a 45 min facial, for the person to walk out several times, and to answer a phone & shout over my face!!!!! This was such a dreadful experience. I spoke with the salon this morning the person that answered the phone said there is nothing they can do because the woman rents the facial room!! I spent my money to get something I DIDNT EVEN GET, TIPPED $10 ALTHOUGH THE WOMAN DIDNT EVEN EXTRACT WHAT I NEEDED OUT OF MY FACE...!! WHAT A JOKE OF A BUSINESS!!!! I DONT SUGGEST ANYONE GOING TO THIS SALON/OR WOMAN FOR ANY SERVICES! They had the woman Daila call me back and she apologized and offered me to come back...she said it was the end of her shift!!! Really?!?!?!?! You tell a customer YOU DIDNT DO YOUR JOB BECAUSE I WAS YOUR LAST CLIENT!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????? Unbelievable!!!!

Just come out of the salon and this time I think its only fair to write a review about it. I went there with a Groupon coupon for a haircut and blow dry and I booked with Monique after reading a lot of good reviews about her. I have to say that for me going to a salon has never been a relaxing and carefree experience, and more than once I came out after a hair cut just wanting to cry. And the fact that you have to tip in addition to pay quite a lot for something you are not happy about is just the cherry on top of a bad tasting cake. This time, Monique made me feel very comfortable right away. She listened and asked questions and gave her insights without acting like she knew it all. She was so sweet and cute all the time and I liked her immediately. I liked that she was concentrated while doing the haircut without too much small talk that some do just to be nice. I really felt relaxed and at ease. I was happy with the haircut, even if I still have to see how its going to look after I wash my hair next time. I wasnt super happy about the blow-dry but I never am, my roots always come out too flat after combing the hair while cutting it. I didnt expect anything different since its difficult to get exactly what I want the first time and since my hair just doesnt cooperates. But I felt like she knew that my roots werent as lifted as I wanted them to be and when I told her "you see what Im talking about? You lift and lift but they are always flat!" , she just said "I know, right???" instead of trying to convince me that I had a lot of volume and i looked good. I really liked that. Also, the rest of the hair was perfect, not too straight and very soft. I came home and re-did the front part to add a little volume and it looks good and healthy. Im sure after a few times I might actually get exactly the blow dry I like on the roots too! She hugged me goodbye and it didnt feel weird even if it was the first time I saw her. For the first time I live in the USA, I really felt like tipping somebody. And the fact that I went to the receptionist and she told me "You had the coupon so you are all set" without even expecting me to tip, made me wanna tip even more! I have already booked an appointment for highlights and will keep my fingers crossed that it goes as well as the hair cut.... I might have found my new salon and a new hairstylist.

I have been a client of Megans for over a decade, and with good reason. I have never received a cut or color I didnt like. You know how we have all experimented one time or another in our haircut lives, you go, you get a cut or color and you arent really cray about it or you may not start to like until w weeks later? Well, I have always loved mine from the moment I walk our of the salon. Megan is courteous dependable and she has a friendly staff of people who always make me feel at home. Thanks Meg for all your hard work you have put in over the years to help me look my best, so that I feel better about myself. Also, congratulations on the 7th year anniversary of your salon. I absolutely love Me Jon Salon! After going to numerous places I have finally found the perfect fit for me thanks to my sister for introducing me to this salon. Every time I have an appointment they are always on time and greeted with a smile. The staff is extremely friendly and I am always offered a glass of water and asked if I need anything. I get my hair cut and highlighted by Monique and she is simply amazing! She really listens to what you want and does a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone in the Coral Springs/South Florida location looking for an amazing stylist! Thank you ladies and I will see you soon!

Im writing this review for my Fiance. It was her bridal shower and she had 9am appointment. Her bridal shower was at 1pm. She got to the appointment 10min early and they tried to tell her the appointment was for 10am. Which is not true. Either the hairstylist overslept or poor organization by the front desk. If you have a major event coming up, Id be weary in choosing this place as they are very unprofessional.

I have been a customer at mejon for many years. Megan and her staff have become my friends. I would never think of going anywhere else for my beauty needs. She always does her magic and never disappoints. I would highly recommend Mejon to anyone who wants a total makeover or just a simple haircut. You will walk out feeling beautiful inside and out!!!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could!
