After patiently waiting months and months for them to come out and do my roof they changed the date on me two times and then when they came out they said they didnt have it on the work order to do the soffit (they did and I called so they fixed it) and were what my renters described as "probably some of the most unprofessional workers he has ever seen" due to not showing up and working on the days they indicated that they would and some other things. All of this could be forgiven if they didnt finish my roof just yesterday afternoon and since call me 4 times in less than 24 hours demanding payment in an unfriendly manner. The roof has not even been finished for 24 hours. I explained to two different people at G&W roofing that my insurance company mailed the check (hurricane Mathew damage) to wrong place and that they were re-issuing it today and that I will call to pay them in 3 or 4 businesses day. Note that I never received an invoice at completion or even signed to agree what my shingle colors would be and Im not certain I have all new soffit. Also note that I didnt call harassing them daily every time the job got rescheduled (I have been waiting on them for months upon months which is why the first check from the insurance company expired and had to be re-issued). I told them I am absolutely going to pay them but due to the error of my insurance company and I need 3 or 4 business days and they find this unacceptable. Well, I find them unacceptable and so long as they harass me daily (even though I was patiently for them while animals made their home in my roof) I will seek out places to spread the word of their lack of professionalism. They had 2.4 stars on google and I should have known better. Its been 24 hours since my roof was finished and they are acting like I dont want to pay them. Come on - the insurance company is paying for this..everyone knows the damage is from hurricane Mathew.. why wouldnt I want to pay the? Its $9,400 and they chose to harass me instead of giving me 3 -4 business days. Ridiculous. I had to wait months and months for them and they wont wait 3 or 4 days for me without getting VERY ugly? Im spreading the word folks! Also, I told them on the third phone call that if they didnt stop being ugly I would tell everyone how they were treating me as a customer and write a review about it. Im going to pay them in a few days but after this I dread ever having to talk to them again. Really put a bad taste in my mouth and I wish I had gone with a different company.

I can not stress enough how important it is that you NOT choose this roofing company. We are now on day 9 of work on our new roof and they are not complete. they failed an inspection . The workers are not only unprofessional but have made statements to me that lead me to believe they have mental health issues and give me great concern about having them around my home. (one threatened to jump from my roof and I would have to hose his body from my side walk) He wreaked of alcohol when he finally showed up for work at noon. They are the least professional group of people I have ever dealt with. Everyday I have had to supply water and ice or they leave and dont come back for hours, which has happened everyday anyway. They dont pick up job site or clean yard for nails at all, leaving this work to my husband who has a full time job. We have been nothing but kind until today. We have called management including the vice president with several issues NONE of which have been addressed and today we were told they dont have anyone else to come because they were short handed so it was fine if they work drunk etc... Please please save your self the head ache I have had to cancel my home appraisal because the roof should have been done days ago and I cant say when or if it ever will be.

The worst company I have every dealt with. Had to wait 3 months after they came to look at the job. Rather than patching the roof they just let it leak for 3 months. Had to talk to 7 different people just to get some one to show up. Was told 3 times they were going to start work and they never showed up. Then when they finally showed up they ripped half the roof off and left in the middle of a rain shower without tarping the roof properly. Ruining hundreds of dollars worth of drywall floor lights and more, THESE GUYS DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. Stay way

Very unprofessional workers. They are working on my neighbors roof, I have caught them trespassing and confronted them twice for stealing my utilities, both electric, then water. Came home at 8:30pm to them blocking the one way into Oak Park condos. Maybe in training, teach your workers common courtesy and not to trespass or steal from people that havent even contracted them to work.

worse roofing company ever! It literally rains inside my house during hard rain and they will not return my calls. I have left many messages with the lady who answers the phone ...but they do not call back. Do not use them... I only gave them one star because it made me pick at least one.

Very professional job. Everywhere they worked around the house doing the roof they kept very clean. I listed my home with the Remax Home Show and received several compliments just on the roof alone. I would recommend this company also for their customer service.

After all of the rain weve been having I just realized that my roof has not leaked for 3 years since G&W Roofing worked on it! Before G&W I had 3 other companies try to fix the leaks and the repairs would last 3-6 months. Quality work!
