Ive been going here for a bout a week now and already feel like im part of the Family. Coach is awesome, work you hard but ensure that your safe. Ive honestly feel like this is the best decision ive made and looking forward to a bright future at CrossFit Oakland update 1 month 3 weeks today i started Crossfit, I was a bit scared and intimidated by so much people telling me not to, im gonna get hurt, its not the best choice etc. I spoke to my mom and decided to go meet this dude Eduardo Colón, we did my first WOD then talked and went over what i wanted to achieve. Ill never forget at the end of our conversation he said "Stick with me and ill get you where you want to be and even further".. Now i have to be honest, I left that day a bit skeptical but excited and anxious to see what would happen over the next few weeks. It was a lot of work and hard, A lot of work showing up every day and giving it all i have. Hard defending why im going to people still trying to talk me out of it or dealing with the smart comments. Less than 2 months later, ive already lost about 32lbs of fat, build muscle, in way better shape than i used to be and achieved about 80% of my goals. The only regret i have is that i wished i meet this dude much earlier.. lol I am extremely happy, excited and looking forward to the next 7 weeks.

I dont know how many people out there would go on a transatlantic vacation trip to relax and have a good time .... yet wake up every morning around 5 to get ready and go do CrossFit.... but let me tell you something.... Thats how GOOD this place was!!! I am a CrossFitter from Greece, so a long long way from home and I was quite nervous how I would fit in and if I could find someplace Id like.... but like I said, I did the research went to a couple of places and trained ... and CrossFit Oakland Park was by far my best choice and one of my best overall CrossFit experiences. I felt so welcomed which is exactly how I needed to feel... and Drew, Eduardo and Nathan made all this happen. I went there 3 consecutive days and on the first day I did 2 workouts! Im telling you I didnt wanna leave and kept wanting for more! I cant thank these guys or recommend them enough!!! So yes, naturally you get the picture, its a 5 star from me, for feeling right at home, for trainers quality, instructions, getting through to you, and firing you all up, for WOD design and Box space and layout, everything, but mostly for giving me my best memories from my first trip in the US. Thank you so much! :)

First and foremost I am not a workout junkie niether am I a fit person but this CrossFit inspires you to be. I have never enjoyed waking up at 5am to go work out but I do!!! Im going to tell you 5 reasons why u should join this CrossFit and no other. 1. Colon(the owner) ensures safety is a priority, you cannot join unless you complete your fundamentals class- which teaches you all the proper forms of CrossFit. 2. The trainers are phenomenal, all of the Nate, Ray, Gina, Wally, and the list continues. 3. Everyone is extremely supportive, if everyone is finish before the rest of the class cheers you on until your finished. 4. Colons wife is awesome!! If you need someone to take your weight and measure your progress and eating tips shes the one!! 5. Last but not least this is a family oriented place, your not a number your a name. If they miss you they call you, if you sign up and no show they call you. And when you show up they greet you with open arms and hug!! Honestly I wouldnt have it any other way this is the place for everybody!!

This place changed my point of view about crossfit completely. I was very skeptical about this sports. Heck, I didnt even consider this was even a sports. I thought they were some show-off by doing some extremely dangerous moves. But i decided to give it a try after i witnessed how much my friends body shape after few months of crossfitting. After third session, I was already hooked and bought myself a membership here. All the couches here have exceptional knowledge in this sport and know how to explain each activity in their own way. I have tried some boot camps from various places but this is the first time I actually learn how to do, for example, squats in proper way. Yes, we can google it or go to youtube. However, i am really appreciated for them to take their own time just for myself to teach me all the fundamental moves from 0 to 100. That shows me that they really care about me not getting injured and want me to become best at this. I really see myself doing it for life. Thanks Coach Colon for the great workout environment!!

This Gym (box) has it all!!! SAFE, Friendly & Clean/New CrossFit Oakland Parks Trainers are dedicated to teaching SAFE, proper & functional technique. None of that push until you break garbage that some CrossFit gyms have become notorious for. The overwhelming sense of community here is contagious and fun! You will not be able to wait till work is over so you can see your box mates and kick ass together! CrossFit Oakland Parks large gym has all new Equipment from "Rouge Fitness" that is cleaned and maintained every day for your safety and convenience. They also have an amazing tracking system called "Wodify" that not only shows you what your workout is, but also calculates your performance making it easy for you to see how much you have really progressed! OH Yea it also has leader board so you can see how all your friends are doing!

Ive been a "gym rat" for over 35 years and for the first time have found the right environment that "gets" true, overall fitness. This facility and staff is top notch if you want to push yourself, constantly improve, be challenged and professionally and compassionately coached. Its inspiring to train alongside marathoners, triathletes, strongmen/women, power lifters and fire-breathing crossfitters! I hesitant about Crossfit after I hurt myself at another box. When I came to this box I told them my concerns and they always had a scaled version of the workouts for me. It has been about 6 months and Im stronger and fitter than ever. I highly suggest this box for folks who are new to Crossfit or coming back from injuries or have medical issues. You just cant beat the coaching staff here. They are the absolute best!

A really friendly and welcoming box. I normally do HIIT classes, not CrossFit, but I was in the area on holiday and decided to check it out. The classes were challenging, and I felt really supported and pushed to a good level. The coaches were vigilant enough to ensure I would not get hurt. Drew, Eduardo and Nate were great. I highly recommend!

I recently joined this box, and it is the best decision Ive made in a while. It is my first time doing crossfit, and Ive had an excellent support from all the coaches. It is a great environment! If this is something that you are interested in; I recommend you give it a try! You are going to love it!!!!
