My name is Chiquita and I was forced to quit at Redeemer ELC because I rather be a floater than a teacher. I told them I would be a floater in this classroom until you guys find another teacher (no understanding). My only options were to be fired or remain in the classroom, so I quit! I was hired to be a one yr old teacher, I was hired to work 9-6 as well. Recently, I was a 3 yr old teacher and my hours were 8-5. On November 15, 2016 the director ANDY SPAULDING and payroll lady TAMMY was upset with me because I did not go on break 5 mins early & came back 5 mins late, my usual time that is. The payroll lady TAMMY, her daughter SARA gave me a break that day & she came in a little early while I was in the middle of something with my children but SARA never told me why she came early, the only thing she said was "I am here to do your break" then I said "OK, I will leave at 10 because my break is scheduled at 10" she said "okay, Im going to grab my stuff" then I said "I will have them ready when you come back". The office never called me ahead of time to let me know that she was coming a little early. (Miscommunication) That day, when I came back from break director: ANDY SPAULDING & TAMMY gave me dirty looks as I stepped inside the classroom. ANDY SPAUDLING then said: "WE ARE IN HERE BECAUSE YOU COULDNT MAKE IT BACK ON TIME, SARA HAD TO GO TO SCHOOL AND NOW SHE WILL BE LATE" BUT, Sara never told me she had to leave for school, the reason being she breaked me 5 mins early. (Miscommunication) TAMMY walked out of my classroom pissed off without them telling me the important note that Sara left for my foster student. They were busy being pissed because they had to get off their ass instead of doing their job. I read the note, then called the office, KESHA answered the phone and I asked her "What is the note about" "who was Tyler with" "Does the foster mom know about this" "why isnt their an incident report on this"? "ANDY DOESNT KNOW HOW TO WRITE ONE , WHY DIDNT TAMMY WRITE IT"? Kesha told Tammy that I said "Kita said you dont know how to write an incident report" (mixing up my words). Tammy stormed into my classroom with a angry face and gave me attitude then she said "oh, I dont know how to write an incident report"!?? (Rudely) instead, she should have asked me did I really say that. So, I grabbed an incident report and a pen, I walked over to her and said "you have to write an incident report or a F.Y.I" Tammy snatched the incident report out of my hand and I threw my writing pen at her so I dont get physical with her, then i saw Tammy was about to yell at me in front of my kids so I walked to the other class and asked MS AMANDA nicely "can you watch my kids please"? My kids were not left alone nor was Amanda out of ratio, she told me that she wasnt, so I never ran out on my kids and left them alone, another teacher was aware of this.

Deserves NO STARS!!This daycare is very different from when my son was there just under a year ago. It baffles me that you do not protect your kids NOR your staff.... that you let kids hit and spit at your teachers and do not reprimand the children or make note of this, even worse that you let someone "QUIT" because they new they were getting fired by being caught on camera hitting and flicking children there. So now that you are light handed do to teachers not wanting to work at this facility because of the way they are treated not only by unhelpful and lazy director & pastor but also hitting and spitting kids. You BRING BACK in your facility the SAME person whom was caught on camera hitting and flicking kids to "help out" (in her own words) "I dont work here, I used to but they are light handed so Im helping out". Kids come home with scratches that are clearly not from a child but from an adult that drew blood!!!! The director holds grudges because he has to actually do something due to being light staffed because teachers are walking out daily as well as parents pulling their kids out. That he takes it out on children and threatens parents with DCF.. as well as blatantly lies to your face, and gets busted 30 seconds after when said person "isnt there" but magically appears in the time of walking down a hallway. You do not deserve to run a daycare!! You are there to help teach and coach these kids to behave and to learn! Not to claim a child is "bad" so you send them home before noon when the parent pays the whole day because you dont want to deal with them. You sir are surely not cut out for management and especially not child care!!!! Im embarrassed to even say my child used to go there! Thankfully there was a different director running things!
