If l could leave one star l would. As stated by another parent, if you have a child with any type of delay they will not work with you. They kicked my four year old out after he tried to climb a shelf and pulling his shoes/socks off. My son has a speech delay and does not nap. When it was explained that my son would be getting speech therapy starting in January during "nap time" they made it out like it was going to be great. Then the next day they called and said "come get him." They walked him out with all of his things as if he did something terrible, all he did was act his age. Even the therapist who came to do a play eval on him stated "Parma Montessori has their standards set way too high for young children." I can say the toddler room and the teachers in there did a great job and there was never any problems when my son was in there. Soon as he transferred to the preK room it was over. Kids running around screaming, no order, and pure chaos. The one woman "Jen" was only ever concerned with money and just a very rude person overall. When your dealing with children and families you need to have some sort of professionalism and customer service, which she is completely lacking in. The back building smells like a hampster cage and l can guarantee they do not clean it thoroughly or with the proper cleaners. Do not waste your hard earned money on this place. Take your children somewhere they will learn and grow and not just be considered $$$.

Used to work at the Montessori on Lunn Rd in Strongsville and our group had decided to take a tour of other Montessori schools. In the the hopes of mayhap further educating ourselves, and perhaps introducing new work to our students. Whelp, if that school practiced anything even remotely related to Marie Montessoris methods, there was no evidence of it anywhere. If there was any structure, it was lost amid the chaos of children running wildly amok, screeching at the top of their lungs, and you had to avoid the obstacle course of toys, lest ye be caught unawares n trip n fall on yer face~! =~D Bay Village Montessori, when we had gone many moons ago, was a decently sized building, followed Montessori, very clean and organized, the teachers were very polite and knowledgeable. This Parma school, well, yeah, I think Id have better luck with an unknown teenager than this "school". It is sad, however, anyone can claim theyre Montessori...careful, as our school found out, there are those that arent worthy of the name. Especially for the cost youre paying for Montessori, make sure your children are getting the education behind it, not just the elite status of the name, so to speak. Hope this helps, have a peachy day~! =~D

This is the worst daycare I have sent my kid to. My daughter went to this school for a week and a half and got kicked out because she climbed on a bookshelf. This bookshelf was on a stage, why it wasnt bolted down I dont know. I explained my kid had a speech delay and they said they would work with her. Please explain why all she does is yell now. They never gave her a chance. If they have to work with your child you wont be there long, this was said by several people I have talk to about this school. They dont want to work with kids. My kid does not want to go back to any school anymore because of what they did. She cries everytime we look at a new school or ask if she wants to go to a school. This should not happen to any kid. I hate that my kid had to go through and I would hate to see another kid go through this as well. My poor kid is 4 and I cant explain to her why she got kicked out of school when they only have her a week to get use to this new school. They gave up on my child I hope they dont give up on yours.

Loved it for her first two years. The infant room was amazing! And the transitional room next door was great too! Once she got into the toddler room and all of the great ppl started to quit it was horrible. Ratio off on almost a daily basis. Screaming and yelling all throughout the rooms. Limited on toys and books. I could go on and on about the things that made me ill as a parent for having my child there. I addressed issues with the assistant director and director (whenever they were actually there) but was rudely brushed away like I was being bothersome. My daughter screamed and cried almost everyday I dropped her off. (We were on a waiting list for months for a different school) I took her out and put her somewhere else and and for the past year she has not cried even once when I drop her off! On top of the fact that she learns so much more where she is at now! She didnt learn anything at the montessori. Very very dissapointed with this place. Dont make the same mistake I did by putting your child in here.

I would NOT recommend this school, my twins were enrolled when they were 18mos things started off great until they gave my son who is deathly allergic to peanuts , peanuts after being there a year and a half and had to be rushed to the er, also my 4 yr old has diabetes and they have forgot several times to check her sugar at scheduled times they are not willing to work with the parents when real concerns come up, also terry at the corporate office is no help either!!! SO if your a concerned parent who wants their child to be cared for this is not the school for you.

I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone who cares about their childs well being. The owner is the least professional person to deal with and was accusatory and defensive when she was told things that were of concern from a parent of a child attending this school, she was downright nasty and rude and ignorant to say the very least. Please do not send your children here. There are concerns of abuse, neglect, safety, health and cleanliness and nobody will listen to you.

The owner is very rude and disrespectful sge blames the kids when she has teachers that are abusive and neglect the kids. My kids were there for 2 yrs and these last 8 to 9 mos its been getting terrible. My son has come home with scratches and bruises that were unexplained, the teachers let them play in the sink to the point my son looked like he went swimming, and a teacher that taped my daughters my shut got transferred to another location. Do Not Send Your Kids Here!!

I love having my kids there. My daughter went there for pre k for 2yrs and then kindergarten and had the best teachers. She then was able to stay home with dad after school. Then I had another daughter and their dads schedule changed so I enrolled them both there. My oldest still had her favorite teacher from before, miss Katie and the younger one loves miss Cortni from in the toddler 2 room.
