Our business needed a locksmith asap late in the afternoon and I called the above locksmith because they were in Hollywood where our office is. I was impressed with how much information Jennifer supplied to us and decided to use them. Charlie was given the job and he came very timely. He was friendly, professional and explained to us about each type lock, they keys, making copies etc. He also showed us how the locks he was removing were not installed correctly and why. We decided on the medium deadbolt and he had to go back to the office to get it. He returned within minutes of the time he said it would take. Charlie explained to us how the bottom new lock can work 3 different ways and let us practice until we felt comfortable with it. He also did not charge us for the extra keys we requested. We were very pleased with his professionalism and how informative he was and was not trying to rush us so he could leave. We would recommend this company and Charlie to anyone who might want to have locks changed/installed.

Also, to help lower the cost, Charlie took apart, examined and replaced only what needed to be fixed. Wow, what great service! Charlie says to call "anytime" and he really means it. Their hours are listed as being open until 11pm and Charlie will pick up the phone and schedule you in right away. He came over and spent lots of time explaining my options and made sure I had a fresh set of working locks and even the older locks were lubricated and in perfect working order. He left me with 6 keys with his phone number on the key ring plus his card, all this after making sure to apply all the special rates and discounts I qualified for. I highly recommend General Locksmith and Charlie!

Charlie came to our office on an emergency basis. I spoke to him at 2:45pm and he came to the office at 3:00pm. Which was awesome!!! Since we finished our day at 2:30. I showed him the door that wouldnt lock properly. He literally looked at the door picked up a screw bolt that was sitting in a hole that shouldnt have been there. Handed it to me. and looked at me and said have a Good day! Let me tell you if I ever need him at home. HE will be the one I will be calling!

This company is fantastic! Just purchased a home and the front door post wouldnt budge and I was getting furniture delivered and needed the doors open! Charlie came right out first thing in the morning and fixed the lock and showed me how to use the lock because it was a 5point lock and said you have to learn how to use it because if it breaks it is quite expensive to replace.
