I was planning a wedding reception for our daughter and a friend recommended Designed Events. I could not have been any happier!! Thanks to Mark and John the reception was a huge success. All the guest raved about the food, Mark and John are very conscious using only the best fresh food available nothing frozen or pre made. Mark suggested wild Alaskan Salmon and an Argentinean style steak for the entree both were perfectly prepared and so flavorful. Mark volunteered to make the table centerpieces, red and white roses were the main flowers with beautiful greenery including rosemary, hydrangea just to name a few of the flowers beautifully displayed in each centerpiece. The staff worked very hard setting everything up prior to the reception and cleaned up afterwards leaving us with nothing to do when the reception was over. We had a wonderful event thanks to Designed Events and their attention to detail. I will definitely use them again and recommend them if you are planning a special event.

Locating an exceptional caterer for our daughter’s wedding reception was a must, as we wanted our guests to be served a meal they would remember! Designed Events exceeded our expectations! Even though the wedding was two months ago, our guests are still RAVING about the FABULOUS FOOD…..from the hors d’ oeuvres served butler style through the beautifully presented buffet dinner! They spent countless hours helping us customize our menu as they offer a wide variety of selections. Though we worked mostly with Mark, both he and John made us feel as though we were their only clients, which is far from the truth! Now, we know why Designed Events is in so high demand….their food and service are second to none! A bonus for us is that they are very familiar with River House in St. Augustine, so they were totally at home while preparing the most delicious food EVER!!! Their attention to detail and their surroundings helped create the ‘dream’ reception for our daughter and her husband.

Designed Events was the caterer for my daughters wedding last weekend. To be honest, I chose Designed Events after a couple of recommendations, I didnt really do a lot of research. Ive never been to a wedding where the food was very memorable, so it really wasnt one of my top priorities. From the beginning, Mark & John were very easy to work with and they helped me select a simple yet sophisticated menu. At the wedding reception I was so impressed with the professionalism, the beautiful presentation of the food, the speed of service, and last but not least, the delicious food! My husband and I were truly shocked at how great the food was - it was not your typical wedding fare. In the days since the wedding, family & friends have continued to mention the delicious meal when they talk about the wedding. I couldnt be more pleased! I have a younger daughter, so when the time comes for her wedding, I will surely work with them again.

I cant say enough wonderful things about my experience with John and Mark at Designed Events ... everything was SPECTACULAR! From the kindness and professionalism to the attention to detail, they were incredible. The food, however, stole the show! With the most unique and beautiful presentation, each and every dish at my daughters wedding reception was delicious and amazing. Due to limited space at the venue, they prepared two long buffet tables out of sight, then wheeled them onto the dance floor in a moments notice. They had it ready to go in less than two minutes (!) and managed to serve 170 guests in 20 minutes ... with food that inspired hundreds of compliments from the guests and a presentation that looked like it took hours to perfect. I couldnt be happier ... I will call them every time I have a need for a caterer in the future, without a doubt!

I was told by many that I have to use Designed Events, Inc for my daughters wedding reception. After discussing a menu with John and Mark, we knew we had made the right choice. The food was different and stood out from any wedding I have ever been to. We decided not to have a traditional wedding cake and Designed Events Inc handled it all with a small ceremonial cake my daughter and husband could cut and a beautiful display of desserts. Our reception would not have been what it was without this delicious display of food. They are wonderful people to work with and hope to use them again in the future. Amazing and Easy! Designed Events catered our Church Prom. (200+ people) WOW and YUMMY. The staff went above and beyond. We had a crew ready to do the clean up, but we were amazed that most of it was completed before the Caterers left. Not only were they helpful, they were friendly and accommodating (the day before the event, we had 20 more people sign up!) The food & drink tables looked amazing and the food tasted great! I would recommend them to anyone!
