The manger has an," I dont need your business" attitude. Very strict and rigid and not very business savvy in that, EVERYONE NEEDS BUSINESS not to mention loyal customers and positive word of mouth advertising. I paid over 400$ for the worst birthday party my daughter has ever had/attended. The reason we chose this place is the laser tag. The day of the party, which was scheduled 2-5pm which no one got in to the building until at least 215, I was told by the manger that laser tag was broken. I was angry but I just asked that he give us extra pizza instead. It costs very little to make pizza and I would have paid the full price for the laser tag party and been happy. But no, he was so afraid that I was going to get something I wasnt entitled to he made me choose another party package and then he nickle and dimed me and my guests the entire party. He wouldnt even let the employees get us water at the party table until it was time for the kids to eat. He needs help, I had a guest waiting outside for fifteen minutes before she and her kids were let into the party. He bikered and argued with my guests (which I agree were being a little more rude that they should have been after they thought they were being discriminated against) he even threatened me that he would call the police and have my guests taken out. I thought that was quite extreme for an eight year olds party. Its really too bad because I have plenty of conversations about kids parties with other parents and my daughter loves to skate and shes only getting better. He really probably cost himself at least 1000$ in future revenue by not providing the expected experience and a reasonable resolution to problems like broken laser tag.

This skating rink is a joke. They are constantly barking out orders: "no sunglasses, hats, or cellphones on the rink." "No stopping on the wall - keep moving." "You passed the exit by 2 feet- you cant turn around and go back- you have to keep going around again." "If you fall, and youre not hurt, you need to get back up quickly." They are constantly telling the little ones to "get off the walls." If you get a table right beside the rink wall, youd BETTER not stop for a quick drink, or to tell your parent something, or even HOLD ONTO THE WALL WHILE SKATING in order to keep your balance. Granted, none of these things theyre barking about were that serious- sometimes when a kid falls, they have to take a couple seconds to gather their wits and balance before getting back up. My children did NONE of these things- so Im not being defensive. I was just literally shocked by their lack of customer relations, and found it very annoying and frustrating. They literally stop the music every 10 minutes to bark out more orders and re-state the ridiculous "rules" over the loud speakers. Save yourself the horrible experience, and go to Skate World in Lakeland. In Lakeland, you can walk on the rink in your sneakers to help your little ones, you can take video of your kids with your cell while they skate, and the management really goes out of their way to make your experience enjoyable, unlike here. Zero stars.

Last night I had a birthday party for my daughter 13th birthday. The manager was so rude and tried to kick out three of the kids, including the birthday girl because the came off the skating floor during a dice game. Why because he was talking to everyone as if they were stupid. He doesnt know how to deal with kids. He tried to tell us when to eat our nasty pizza and when to do laser tag. He talks to the kids direct instead of talking to the parent. He yelled at the kids,"move move get out the way!" Its sad how disrespectful he is...very unprofessional. Im sure others have experienced the disrespect. We will never step foot back in their. There was a total of 26 people with us. All parents have been advised. No one will be returning. Theres a leak in the roof and he had a bucket in the middle of the skating rink floor to catch the water. Oh my Lord forgive the kid he knocked the bucket over. He yelled everyone off the floor now!!!!! I hate to mentioned there were only 3 employees including him. Imagine the customer service. Hes the DJ and managing (yelling at people children)! There was two other employees, the guy with the glasses was so respectful, but the female is young and unprofessional with the black and white stripe pants/jeans

Wish I could have rated this a 0. This place is a joke and needs shut down. My wife and I took our 7 year old here for the first and last time. Hours say 7-11. They didnt even open the doors until 7:20. It cost 2 adults and a child $27. Went in and went to get skates, my wife was yelled at twice by the kid behind the counter for not having her arm band on even though it was clearly in her hand. We were then yelled at by a young girl for sitting our shoes on the bench seat next to us while we were putting on our skates. I went to take a lap and discovered the skate was messed up while my wife got yelled at about me having a hat on. I stopped for a few seconds to tell my wife something and got yelled at for stopping. My child was very nervous as it was her first time and was leaning on the wall for support. She was yelled at about leaning on the wall. I went to get a set of inline skates for an upgraded price no big deal. Went back to the guy to get them, they had 1 pair and were completely beyond usable. Broken straps and all. Then they tried to give me a pair that was 3 sizes to small. Then a pair 3 sizes to big which I considered until I realized they were also broken. Dont waste your money.

Im giving this 1 star only because I cant give it no stars. Took our kids to go skating for the first time and made the horrible decision to go to Skate Zone. My fiancee grew up skating here, and was absolutely appalled by what it is now. I myself was severely angered by the service we recieved. I waited FIFTEEN minutes for my skate rental, and still had to go hunt someone down to get them for me. Fot the first hour, none of the "striped shirt" employees were even on the rink, and then they proceeded to tell my 8 year old over the loud speakers in front of everyone that she couldnt skate along the wall. Then to beat all, they killed the music, turned on the lights and the manager proceeded to tell us that if a child couldnt hold their balance well, to make room for the experienced skaters and practice in a 6 x 25 square area, that contained no less then 10 other kids. We are locals to this skating rink, and frequent places regularly. Needless to say, given the fact no refunds are given, I will use the remainder of my money helping others stay away from this establishment. Horrid service, and rude employees, and that manager... shouldnt be managing himself. Completely dissatisfied
